This isn't the first time this person has exposed themselves as a liar by making unusually tall claims, and then using backing statements displaying complete ignorance of the very basics.

      Cause the MSM8926, a quad core A7 @ 1.2Ghz scores 445.
      And the MSM8916, a quad core A53 @1.2Ghz scores 520.

I do know though that fully clocked M3 squeezes 3700 points
        2.3 GHz M3 yields 2800 and 1.9 GHz about 2300...
        It's a mystery... o.o

Just remember that A7 at 2GHz scores about 420, while A53@2 GHz is about 900 or so, WHY HERE you are not skeptical?

Kiyasuriin, 16 Sep 2018Just run geekbench. On an exynos9810 device while in power ... moreYou REALLY think that the successor of the low power cortex A53, estimated by ARM itself to be 20% better clock by clock at the same ISO, is going to do a massive jump from 870 points @2GHz on geekbench to over 1800 at even lower clocks?

            SERIOUSLY?

I though you worked on something related to this stuff, now i doubt it.

I've seen the whole battery of notebookcheck's tests(one of the most comprehensive on the net) and traditionally Apple devices only fall behind somewhat on GPU, but if they stick to Metal and the relatively low-res screen on screen numbers are still good.

If not for that: explain how a friend of mine scored 1820 points on his exynos S9+ while retaining multi of 8800?!

Introducing the Kirin 980, the world's first 7nm process mobile phone SoC chipset, the world’s first cortex-A76 architecture chipset, the world’s first DUAL NPU DESIGN , and the world’s first chipset to support LTE Cat.21. The Kirin 980 combines multiple technological innovations and leads the AI trend to provide users with impressive mobile performance and to create a more convenient and intelligent life.

Well... It does interest me if apple indeed gone three clusters. Which core they'd use for extreme power saving.
                                As for K980~
Imo 2xA76@2.9+2xA55@2.2+4xA35@1.8 would be better. As A57 is first gen "BIG" core. And interestingly preforms less than the "Little" Core A55.

A11 Bionic was also prone to thermal throttling, so I'm glad that Apple acknowledges this concern.
But my suggestion is for them to add another set of clusters for true power-saving actions.
2 high performance cores + 2 average performance cores + 4 low performance cores would be ideal here.
MediaTek somehow was successful with this in their Helio X30, but it wasn't highly used enough to become a standard.
Glad that Huawei tried it, hoping for others to follow suit.

Kiyasuriin, 13 Sep 20184/4? Or 3/5? And if A12 is octa, the A12X is Deca? Better 4-4 clusters
But I believe that we must have 3-cluster chipsets now, just like the one on the Kirin 980.

                                      For a flagship, it could be like a 2xCortex A76@2.5GHz + 2xCortex A57@2.0GHz + 4xCortex A35@1.8GHz
This way, we can achieve better battery life at least, assuming that this will be based on the new 7nm process.

Eyes shattering numbers, there is zero chance for any upcoming chipset next year at least first Half, to come close to those numbers. A12 is beast, but considering anything else, this company is crooks and should be avoided as plague, that prices for iPhones and they closed eco system is laughable, not even fast charger included in a package, disgraceful for consumer point of view
