Realistic1, 14 Sep 2018How come Android fans always liked to compare benchmarks...... moreBecause starting snapdragon 835/kirin 970 series, android smartphone are proven to be faster on daily usage. Its true android are slower last few years ago. Now? Not anymore. Apple is losing here even with higher benchmark score.
Some people are still stuck with android is slow "mindset". And some even compare the "godly" iphone X with a 100$ android phone that they used to years ago. Now even a 320$ like Pocophone are faster than iphone X or just take iphone 8 which is still alot expensive compared to poco.

why why, 14 Sep 2018they said 30-90 min more battery already..Yeah, I know.
However those figures seem very conservative to me. Maybe an extra 90mins in Screen On Time, that would make sense, and would mean having an extra 20% left at the end of the day. I suspect they artificially reduced the battery life but cutting the battery capacity, its what they've done before so its expected.

How come Android fans always liked to compare benchmarks... and now they suddenly call them useless when iPhones outperform them on that are by such margin?

I mean Android has it's own advantages, but you can't say that it's the best at everything and anything.

This runs circles around any processor from Android camp...

Geekbench 4 results are basically worthless, especially on IOS as it cannot even be logically compared with Android phones. Worst benchmark ever, after Antutu of course.

In any case you cannot even run emulators on an iphone to be able to use all of that performance. You cannot copy paste files or install third party apps. You cannot use OTG peripherals like mice, keyboards and gamepads. You can ONLY use webkit based browsers..
Yeah, great use of all that performance. To do what exactly?

Benchmarks ... yeah. That kinda got old pretty fast.
If the benchmark says this device is 40% faster than competition and competition is faster in real life tests ...
I believe in benchmarks ... on PC, I sure as hell do not choose my phone based on benchmark numbers.

4GB is more than enough for iOS. While on Android, 4GB is the baseline for things to run properly.... Such irony. If not because of the price point, I will switch over to an iPhone in a heartbeat!

It is just the 2 BIG cores number again. Benchmark don't have access to the entire SoC so numbers are just from the 2 BIG cores it can load

DESPITE Apple's claims of MUCH FASTER processing in almost all areas, the actual test numbers tell a completely different story.

It isn't very different from Huawei cheating in numbers in benchmark tests.
