LG lacks good after-sales support. I will never buy any product from them. After I have this optimus black for a while, I'll purchase Sony Ericsson as a replacement. LG = good products but bad support!

LG is killing its O2X by its own hand by its step motherly attitude towards it. This phone has pretty good hardware and performs well.
        1) Still running Froyo after almost six months launch in India whereas all similar phones runs GB.
        2) Its update process is faulty and and bricks the phone while updating. It seems that the software updates baseband during update process and kills the phone on failure.
        3) USB driver is also not bugfree and occasionally fails to recognise phone in soem PCs. May be something to do with Win XP - but when everyother company can make their android USB drivers work flawlessly why can't LG do that?
        4) Even with so many shortcomings the phone performs well - Thanks to great unofficial GB ROMs / support by some Hobbyists/Developers in various forums and great GB AOSP ROMs in terms of MIUI & CyanogenMod. LG must learn to treat their Highend customers. I loved this phone but will think twice before byuing any LG Mobile in future.

How can you stop updating a phone which uses Nvidia's chipset? This phone sold more than anything because it had "Nvidia"(thats my subjective opinion only) on it; 2 strong brands together with a strong update system is nothing but winning. I don't know how LG can miss this opportunity.

Furthermore, if I was in Nvidia's place I'd think twice before getting involved with this kind of "lazy" company type: Late updates, if any in a market where the buyers are mostly techheads.

I just got my 2x and I'm thinking of changing it for a Samsung really...

Very disappointed. This is my first Android phone and surely be the last for me, as far as LG is concern.

I feel sorry for LG owners, damn you LG!!

Nexus or Galaxy S/S2/S3 is always a better buy.

this is old LG funda to capture attention of users , they did that with optimus one and it ended on gingerbread...

the 2x is the phone with one of the best processors , dont see any reason why it won't support ICS on it.
