Applauding Huawei for listening to the prospective buyers needs... the 3.5mm headphone jack will we warmly welcomed & will most likely play a very important factor in my purchasing decision .. retiring my oneplus2 & was looking at the oneplus6T till oneplus decided to kill off the jack. Well that killed off my interest on the op6T .. looks like a straighforward match between the google pixel 3XL & the Huawei mate 20pro

Good quality bluetooth headphones will be the same, if not even better than good wired ones.

              Yes, such good news.

3.5 mm jack is back in form for Huawei flagships. It's like music to my ears (quite literally too).

Plus IR blasters and stereo speakers. Hopefully, the SD card slot is back too.

Even the notch is reduced a water-drop one.

Headphone jack is basically ancient. It has to die sooner or later.

There hater comments below are laughable at best. Not only are they illogical, but also ignorant. The P20 Pro didn't cut any corners, it was premium all the way. It didn't have a headphone jack, but that was a marketing decision that has now been corrected for the Mate 20/Pro. This phone is going to be one of the (if not THE) best of 2018, and that's a fact!

and for alot of people your list is just irrelevant. why need ip68 instead of 67? its a nice too have.. why do you need a sd card? I have 128gb way more than enough.. i would rather not have a sd card, because if someone stole my phone they wont have access to my media. But some people like a sd card.. anyway everyone has different arguments and needs but if you think about yours really well.. >99% dont need it hahaha

Huawei may be the 2nd manufacturer after HTC brought the trusty 3.5mm jack on U12 Life. Hope others who drop do the same and give a middle finger to Apple's COURAGE.

Is it just me or the Mate 20 Pro brought back the headphone jack based on alleged leaks?? If so, good for Huawei to quit from Apple's COURAGE cult.

                                  Please be honest next time!

Look at stabilized P20 1080p, the video is cropped, and thats confirmed its been using EIS only. 4k doesnt even have any stabilizer at all, which if has OIS, it will always be enabled. For telephoto zooming purpose, u definitely needs OIS for stabilized the handheld shaking image.

As Huawei claims, yes OIS only exist in telephoto sensor. And thats the weakness of huawei flagship phones, wish on the next Mate 20 series they improve it. Take Sony phones for example, they dont have OIS, but the 4k EIS is well stabilized when P20 doesnt even care to put EIS in their 4k video.

JerryRigEverything later found out that the moving mechanism on the modules of the main sensor and the monochrome one is just for the focusing. Try shaking the phone and you won't see any sort of "wobble" in your viewfinder, which you would on any phones with OIS.

That screen in one of the pictures. Huawei still doesn't figure out how to make it true All-screen like Apple with the symmetrical side bezels and chin. This still looks like the Mi Mix's Tri-bezelless design.
