You are saying how this and this is better, you know everyone has their own taste? for example in my opinion all Android phones are too big, If there's compact Android phone it's just crap version from the big brother.

I have an iPhone 8 Plus which I wanted to keep for one last year but when I see the prices of these ones, I am a bit scared of the new heights it might reach next year. Since I am going to the US, I'll be able to buy one iPhone Xs 230€ than it is in Belgium.
As someone else said, the XS might be the last of its kind (size-wise) as the new normal might be 6.1 inches next year. I already have difficulties to use my iPhone 8 Plus with one hand only... x)
Also I don't get why people complain about having the same design as last year... I mean, c'mon! It is still a relevant design and to be honest, once the phone is bezeless and notched, I don't see how the design on the front can evolve more, it doesn't leave much place to the imagination.
But I really think it's garbage that they don't bundle a fast charger with it, I mean... it's a 1000$ phone... Luckily, I have a MacBook Pro so I already have a 61W USB-C Power Adapter!

Apple is indeed smart in making people pay for it's ecosystem. Sadly, Android lacks this! Not sure who to blame. Fragmentation, too many OEMs, lack of proper software support, either stock or bloatware ROM, regular security fix, open source nature making pricing so varied that premium line hardly has a differentiating factor, custom ROM route suggestion to everyone if need your way, etc. Using an Android but amazed how Apple sells and grows against sea of Android's!

I might end up with the silver iPhone XS (64 GB). I really don't want it but if I get an Apple Watch Series 4, it requires the iPhone it will pair with to be on iOS12. I have no plans updating my SE. I love 10.2.1. I initially wanted the red iPhone XR (128 GB) but the XR is 5 mm wider and nearly 7 mm taller. The XS might be the last of this size before making the XR size the smaller one next year.
The stainless steel bezel on the silver X/XS also makes it look classier on the front than the XR. I have no real choice if I plan on getting the AWS4. Then I hope to never to update either the AWS4 and XS to keep them paired up forever. Buying a new AWS4 is another way from Apple to force you to update or get a newer iPhone.
I've checked for several Google Wear OS smartwatches including the TickWatch Pro and only the Apple Watch Series 4 ticks all my boxes with design, apps, and battery life. TickWatch Pro still uses an old SoC. I want to use my watch to reply to texts, check emails, and GPS navigation.
Less whipping out my phone. Most of the things at a glance with a watch. So an iPhone on iOS12 is needed if I want to make my Apple Watch Series 4. Or I can buy a cheap iPhone 7, update it to iOS12, and use that as my daily driver. SE needs to stay on iOS10 to maintain both its speed and battery life.
