One reviewer on youtube compared XS and XS max, with same app, and both screens display the same amount of content and information, everything is just larger on the max version. So yeah, in this case, large screen does not mean more content. Just larger.

I'm assuming splitscreen will come to the XS Max at some point, I'll wait until that happens, without it all that screen space seems a little pointless.

And is the most durable glass really durable, apple claimed the same with iPhone X and it turned out average

I am currently on an iPhone 7. If I had to upgrade, I think my best bet would be the iPhone X because the XS is so new that it is still unreasonably expensive. But I am very happy with my iPhone 7 so I plan on keeping it for another few years. Maybe when it's 6 years old and software support ends, I might just pick up a used X for € 200 or so.

            definitely this is the year

Gsmarena advertising iPhones again and we cant say anything about improvements before full review, it maybe better than iPhone X but is it better than android flagships like Note9, P20 Pro, S9+ and upcoming phones like Pixel 3s, Mate 20 and Nokia 9

Is GSMArena trying to be Tom's Hardware now?

Here's 9 more not to buy a these iphones.

*that glass isn't any better than gorilla glass 3
*buying this generation makes apple think people are made of money
*it's design is that of a midrange android phone
                  *it lacks a 3.5mm jack
                  *it lacks microSD support
*it still forces it's users to use the apple eco system for smooth file sync
*you're paying for marketing expenses and not the product
*you're promoting a monopoly by allowing them to make the most money in the market using 3rd world ideas
*you can get more battery life out of a midrange android phone

                    Not enough to convince me. I'd rather have android over this. ^^;

That 64/256 is the modern equivalent of 16/64.

1250 euros for a phone that doesn't come with the headphone jack dongle and fast charging out of the box, plus the back glass repair costing as much as a flagship Android phone?
That's explains why Apple is a trillion dollar company.

Finally stereo recording and bigger camera sensor are enough reason if I would consider. Apple users that bought iphones until now surely use different measures though, cannot use just pure specs sheet, the new iphone - is enough of reason for them.

100 reasons not to buy an iPhone > yes the f*cking price $$$

The phone that was made just to increase one's social status.

We need a full complete critical review on camera, comparing against upcoming Pixel 3 XL, MIMO Wifi (Intel Chip), 4G Modem in real life condition, Dual SIM capabilities, Dual WhatsApp and Dual App possibilities, of course, battery life (i expect this to be better than X). For the price it is demanding, blind buying is NOT possible. We will wait for 2-3 months. Last time, display issues reported(green lines). It is prudent to wait and watch for a $2100 Mobile.

Apple is a scam of a company. But they do it legit because people who buy them are so very dumb. You pay 1300$ for the device(2200$ in other parts of the world) then if you break their "most durable glass"..which is total BS .. you need to pay 500$ to repair it.WTF!? You pay half of the device just for that "durable glass". Haha..

one big reason not to upgrade to iphone xs max is the fcking price.
