Refurbished ps 3 is more interesting, remember it has backward compatibility with ps 1 game

Well they've already copied the d-pad, general setup of the SNES controller, analog stick, motion controller, Super Smash Bros and even patented a Switch copycat so of course they're also copying the NES Classic.

If it has an online store and a CD reader it would utterly kills Nintendo offerings at once.
With just an online store and Nintendo will be doomed.

They could as well make support for cases. Bringing old games to new ps4 or phones would be way better(similar to Microsoft's way).

Torn on the idea to get this, Currently 50/50. Yeah its neat to have the nostalgic feeling of having the console again, however will it feel that nostalgic plugging in an HDMI cable into the back of it? Also the idea of having the limited games isn't that appealing. If they had an option to open the tray and in there it had the disks from back then with the pre loaded games on it and we could get more bundles of the games over time. Would make it a much better deal

The point about the original ps1 is that even if you still have it, the video connection won't be HDMI and if you use composite video, it's gonna look a bit crap, unless you have a rare micomsoft Xrgb mini, and rgb cable (rgb scart is quite rare on UK tv nowadays， never released in middle East or USA), but with PlayStation classic with HDMI and USB power, it's so easy and convenient, you can even take it to use on work monitor or holiday using hotel TV
