RIP Apple iPhone SE

I strongly prefer the sharp edges since it give a better grip and can stand steady (better then round edges) when I take photos/time laps. I also think the size is great, the only wish I have is that I could have a solid color on the backside. Glass, steel... whatever, but make it plain. I'll miss this phone greatly when it's gone, but first I'll buy myself a new 5se that I hope will last 2-3 years.

I like the size of my OnePlus 5 and while the 5T was around the same size, the 6 and 6T are too big for me. It seems we have to compromise more just to use a phone that's comfortable, which is a shame

I am using iPhone SE for past two years. I am so glad to share my experience with the new iOS 12 upgrade in the iPhone. The new OS is really amazing and has taken the phone to a higher level which made me love the iPhone SE than before. The OS works well with the phone with barely or no lag issues. There is no point in waiting for another iOS for iPhone SE in the future as I could reckon this is the best the phone could get. I have faced no issues on the phone with new iOS 12. There is no point in buying iPhone SE right now as it won't suit with the present gadget specs. On the other hand, it's worth to preserve the phone rather than buying a new one, if you have no issues with it.

Was really hoping they'd make an SE version of the XS. Can't stand the size of phones now. I've been a die-hard Android user since forever and was very sad I had to give up my original Moto X, but it's almost impossible to find something that's got decent performance and a built-in headphone jack. I'm currently using the Moto g5 Plus and I like the phone, but it's just too big. I understand that I'm in the minority and most people like larger screen devices but I'm not a fan of them unfortunately. I'd definitely move to iOS if they had an SE model, but unfortunately the smallest sized newer iPhone is about the size of my G5 Plus, which is lame.

Even though I don't like an iPhone because it is very expensive, I guess my next phone 2 years from now would be an iPhone SE or iPhone 7. This is because Android phones are getting bigger and bigger, and I don't like big phones. If iPhone 6 is still currently available is my city despite being a 4-year old phone, then I think an iPhone SE or iPhone 7 would still be available in my city 4 years from their release date.

It is confirmed that iPhone 8 is the last of its kind and from now on all the iPhone would be huge with a fugly notch. So let's say I switch to iPhone 8 now, I'll have to return to android again eventually since there won't be any 4.7" form factor afterwards. It's a pain in the ass to switch platforms. You have to reorganize your data, photos, contacts and purchase apps again. Had Apple kept the SE line up alive and provided regular update, I would have made the switch. But, it seems they have no intention to keep the small form factor alive.

Honestly - Pixel phones are just bad, Xperia XZ2 compact is simply ugly and boxy, and I don’t want to go back to Android anyways.
I see myself only buying iPhone8 or iPhone XS next year, unless Apple gives out some other compact option next year.

I really hoped that Apple was made an SE 2 my last Apple phone in fact was the SE.. I will not buy anymore an apple product untill they don't change their business mind, and I'm quite sad because I used to like iOS as mobile system.

Seriously, if apple kept that same chassis and made it bezeless , it would bump the screen up to like somewhere between 4.5-5 and still have ultimate compactness. that would be perfect.
manufacturers don't realise there are a huge amount of people that love small phones and I'm surprised they forgot that considering they couldn't supply enough SE's to meet demand at one point.

Biggest grudge I have with new iPhones is the price. At 4 digit figures going all the way up to 1600€ in my country, the pricing is just straight up absurd. Cheapest Xs is 1200€. I bet XR which is nowhere to be seen will be 1000€. Still absurd as it doesn't provide anything outstanding over Android devices that cost basically half as much. Just when I warmed and opened up for Apple a bit, they make their stuff for such stupid prices I just can't afford them. No way I'm giving entire monthly salary for a freaking phone.
