Omg, it is so fast. Time to pre order another 1200 euros phone. ... It is the only thing in which iPhone is better. So, my question is. It is worth the overpriced value for a faster 1 or 2 seconds when entering in an app? By the way, you're talking about 4k treatment, editing and compression. How many people do you think do that in a smartphone? Iphone CPU is like and CPU. On benchmarks they are the best, on real life use, meh

    You should look at the 980 compared to the 970 (10nm)
    The Qualcomm S855 if it is indeed a phone ch will be a 7nm 5GB

          Apple is copying Google's computational photography and the iPhone XS still can't beat last year's Pixel 2. Wait when Pixel widens the gap again. Apple might be tops in SoC but Google is tops in mobile photography.

                  Dam, not bad Apple, god job on that chip.
                  That's why i'm holding off on my oneplus 5T, there's not such a big leap between the Op6T and OP5T
                  Let's see the Oneplus 7.

                    speechless on the video editing test. so, the size of the die of the notebook class processor is true winner here. maybe Qualcomm or Samsung can make a spin off of their Snapdragon or Exynos chipset with only CPU section rather than a full Chipset, and see what happen when they're got benchmarked.

                          I've never edited a 4K video on my phone, however I occasionally play some mid grade graphic games.

                            Also one thing I never understand, why do all these publication mention Apple's superior Geekbench scores (which only consider CPU performance) and not Antutu (which consider much more aspects). You know the answer, because Apple has always been behind in Antutu, which technically shows a much closer picture of real life performance.
                            It seems that if iPhone does 1 thing better, compared to something, say, Note9, and the Note does 9 things better, still according to Apple fanboys, that 1 thing is the most important aspect in the device and everything else that the Note is better at, is a gimmick.

                              iPhone users is so, so lucky that he can render 4k videos on their phones almost 3x faster than a Note9 user. An unlucky Note9 user, listening to music on his favourite wired headphones, needing to charge their phones in between longer intervals, and that too in half the time with the supplied charger only, all the while saving a few bucks while having 256 gigs on his device (with 128 internal and a 128 gig SD bought for 10$). Oh and yeah even apps that take less time on iPhone to open, are already open due to much superior multi tasking. But yes, alas, the pathetic Note9 cannot render a 4k video in under a minute. Such a garbage device.

                                Wooow pay double for the performance you will never use! :D The Apple way...

                                  well a11bionic is already years ahead during the launch and a12 is 1st 7nm chip in industry i dont really see much diff in numbers thoug still its acceptable as its already powerful enough, know i have high expectation from snapdragon 855 and i m pretty sure its going to match the score or excel in some corners, and about the apps and video editing software ios apps are very highly optimized and for video editing and content creating ios is best from the beginning as android apps crashes a lot i have no idea about pixel phone as i didn't really used it,last i had used sam s8 and its an beautiful phone but high productivity aaps crashes some time especially after excessively used android does provide better user experience and camera but ios apps are very less prone to crash and lag even with the older devices.
