Yeah apple chipsets have always been ahead of the pack. But smartphones are not only about speed and smoothness. There's also customizability, personality, utility, flexibility, intuitiveness, battery life and efficiency, compatibility, etc., many of which aspects ios is subpar compared to android flagships.

Whackcar, 20 Sep 2018Apple fanboys are hypocrites. When it comes to battery size... morechildren oof! when u see the hypocrite comments, they are comments by individuals and don't represent the countless millions of other iphone users. and for ur info there are silly droid people who comment on here too :D

Adul Al Salami Kebab, 20 Sep 2018How can we be sure they are not cheating? iOS is so locked ... moreYou know everyone who get the new iPhone tomorrow can test how fast the fornite opens, so would be very bad to cheat :D

Whackcar, 20 Sep 2018Apple fanboys are hypocrites. When it comes to battery size... moreNo we don't care about numbers, thats android boys stuff, but sorry you don't have that anymore. We iOS users are always about realtime performance and smoothness.
I don't know what you are talking about but clearly here year old iPhone X wins Note 9 in speed https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nx90hDwf9JQ they only lose in second round which isn't speed round.
And yes that was one year model, XS will be even faster and propably can keep apps open in second round too.

Kiyasuriin, 20 Sep 2018raw preformance. Otherwise Android is much better.wouldn't go too far with the 'much better' . cameras are similar or not too different. storage isn't much an issue like it used to be when sd card argument had more meaning when iphones were only 16gb in memory. but whatever people are happy with really. android users will love their phones and iphone users will love their phones too

Apple fanboys are hypocrites. When it comes to battery size, they think numbers (of battery mAh) don't matter & what matters is endurance (to which they claim iPhones are better, which is untrue) & when it comes to performance, then they suddenly care about numbers (of benchmark scores) instead of real-life performance (where Androids crush iPhones, especially in multitasking). It's hilarious really...

YalokIy, 20 Sep 2018Haha, if benchmarks is all you think what makes a great sma... moreI don't care about benchmarks at all but my comment is more to do with the cry babies who lose their marbles whenever anything good is mentioned about iphones. and so far being proved correct. need more popcorn. back in 10 minutes quickly running to shop :D

Benchmarks ... seriously, who cares anymore.
We see so many "benchmark winners" beaten by "not benchmark winners" in real-world side by side tests.
Benchmarks on PC are a decent way to get a feel for GPU and CPU, but for mobile phones? They do not reflect real power of the device.

you telling me a new top tier phone is better than a last years top tier phone? That's awesome! ALso it's only more expensive. That's really worth it - sorry for the irony, but those specs are still ashaming for the price you have to pay. No fingerprint in screen? No Audio Jack? No Audio adapter? No fast charging adapter included? That's just a scam. But hey, people love being scammed, so here you go!

aceofgenerations, 20 Sep 2018Agreed. Even then the performance increase isn't even usefu... more" Even then the performance increase isn't even useful in day-to-day tasks."
What are you talking about? of course speedier device is useful in day-to-day task. Everything what you do you do faster (more enjoyable), who wouldn't want that. I'm actually very surprised how much faster XS for example opened fortnite, couldn't think the difference would be that big anymore.

Anonymous, 20 Sep 2018yeah but yeah but no sd card but but but
just waiting for ... moreIs that all that you can anticipate? :) Well here's what I'd like to say:
Wow! chart topping, improved split second performance for the iphone Xses as if it matters to the user experience anymore, with the current processor speeds of modern flagships, (android or iphone), already way more than fast enough than the iphone user's ability to think what to do with it, 99.99% of the time. :)
You should know that the only things that matter now are the features set (head phone jack, dual sim, micro sd card expansion, FM radio, IR blaster, waterproofing, wireless charging, 4k video recording, camera performance, etc.) and flexibility of the mobile operating system---
And in those aspects, android is KING and iOS is the same old boring, restrictive, limited and archaic/jurassic system that it was and has ever been: zero customization - no resizable widgets on home screen, no resizable icon sizes/folder sizes, no adjustable grid, no app drawer to hide all the stupid icon and folder clutter, no resizable dock, no dark mode, no animation speed adjustment to correct the irritatingly, horribly slow animation and scroll speed, no file management, no real multitasking, no picture in picture/split screen, convoluted, horribly slow bluetooth or iTunes file transfers for simple music/movies/media files transfer, and worse of all, a system which milks the user and monetizes everything by making it virtually impossible to copy your own music and have them playable and accessible by all your music apps, and with Apple rather forcing you pay for music and apps, again and again, while charging you for disposable, overpriced airpods, quick charger, dongles, etc. that should have come as freebies in the package of a highway-robbery priced $1,000++ device purporting to be the mostest advancest, durablest, fastest, iphone yet. (Say that with an English accent like Jony Ive.) :)

I don't trust benchmarks anymore. It is nothing more than marketing gimmick. Xiaomi Mi 8 is faster than iPhone X.
