if you remove a good feature for another feature then it's not innovating or innovation.
it's just improvising, improvising is not a good choice as you are single-handedly shunning yourself from certain groups of your customer. Oneplus has never shown any sign of innovation after the one plus 1.

It's an old technology but replacing it with less advanced ones is such a retarded idea. USB-C audio brings no advantage over 3.5mm audio, and wireless ones are simply worse in terms of audio quality. And you can even have both of them WITHOUT removing the dedicated jack if you like those. It's nothing to do with waterproofing as well since there are phones with IP68 rating while also having a headphone jack. Just because it's old that doesn't mean it's obsolete or worse than newer tech. Don't be a blind fanboy, you said it yourself.

Apple got rid of fingerprint ID in order to jack up the price for Face ID which us the reason why the iPhone X

The fallacy of this argument is down to speed

Here is the reason why biometric id whether it be fingerprint or face id is that these ate done in a secure area, i.e. there is an additional levels of security, e.g logging on to a PC in an office

This was demonstrated in the last series of Homeland. An unconscious FBI iPhone was accessed by moving the iPhone to his also unconscious finger.

Passwords albeit slow 10 attempts they get nothing

Here is my question can Law Enforcement "make you " present a finger or use face id?

A difficult decision for oneplus, but not difficult enough for them to feel obliged to include the usb-c buds out of the box?

OnePlus CEO says nonsense again. Never Settle has permanently changed to Ever Settle. They charge more and remove more. In the meantime the S10 will have everything the OP6T will have + what it removed.

The headphone jack isn't legacy tech. It's very current and does everything USB-C headphones do. If not better. Tell me how 3.5mm jack is obsolete. Not old, obsolete. Old doesn't mean obsolete. But fanboys say so.

Objectively, forcing the removal of 3.5mm jack will create a lot of e-waste. Perfectly good hardware will be thrown out for new hardware that does the exact same thing. It will also force owners to spend considerable amounts of money to get new hardware that does the exact same thing. So, is the jack removal still a good idea?

It ticks all the 3 legacy features that some still want to peddle:

Then they could have just put the 3.5mm jack on the top most area of the phone. Like how Sony does it.
