I think this is still better than what happened with P20 series. Both P20 & P20 Pro didn't had a headphone jack. Here at least the cheaper flagship will have it.
Personally, i don't think it's a big deal. It's pretty common for new phones to not have a headphone jack. Just like it's common for new phones to not have FM radio, IR Blaster, Removable batteries, and so on. Things change with time. It's better to adapt early.
Sooner or later, even Samsung & LG will get rid of the jack. Be ready for it.

about 17 from 20 different site i chcecked praised theses over any other. Rest 3 sites said Apple Airpods are winners.

I'd move to Wireless if it has solar panels and a battery source to keep it going. I'll move my long hair away to start the solar charge but too bad, it'll never come. Same goes for lagless audio when it comes to pinpoint accuracy games. A nanosec of delay due to being wireless will ruin all.
Come to think of it, I see Jack demanders as lazy people who forgot to charge their wireless headphones. They may have charge the phone but they didn't charge their headphones. They should add that as a major responsibility too you lazy droids.

On the other hand, Huawei's bluetooth headphones are amazing.
Mine came as a gift from the shop when I bought the Huawei M5 tablet and they're just incredible. Yes, there's some delay if you're using other apps that aren't the original phone app for calling (whatsapp, etc) but hey, they're pretty good!

I get the point. Its a choice,
- If u love the jack, go for normal Mate 20 & legacy fps placement.
- If u are professional/bussiness style, go for the pro, everything wirelessly and less tangible, minimalistic design with in display fps & higher face unlock security.
Clearly huawei's target on various of customers taste. Believe it or not, all legacy things maintain on last vanilla Mate 10, yet the Pro version still sold higher.
I for one, appreciate the jack & definitely will go with vanilla Mate 20. Both phone version is a beast.

But then again, last year the Mate 10 had the jack while the Mate 10 Pro didn't, if I don't remember badly.

Its unbelievable no matter what, there is always somthing wrong with the phones in here.
No jack, notch, ugly notch, big notch, edge, copy, damn copycat, micro usb, to cheap, to expensive, to tall, small battery, to much bloatware, bad camera, to many camera's, Chinese crap, shitty Apple, damn Samsung... No matter what, one thing is always sure, scream necks are always yaking.
So many have so much to say about everything... Goooodddd.
Looks like a nice phone btw, arrrr i dont like the color of the charger cable, damn Chinese.
