Never used it even once on my Android Phone after how many years and how many times I upgraded.

At least Google is doing it.

          What about your Effbook, ZUCC?

Google killing its own products / services is not news

Just goes to show how half-baked Google makes its own projects, and how little support they give it. It means the corporation has little faith in its products and itself. So why should consumers?

History is littered with these examples, Google is a very incompetent company and almost all its successful projects (Search, YouTube, Android) had a lot more to do with luck and marketing than being a great product. I can see a more ambitious and advanced company to eventually outdo Google... take Amazon as a mere example, where they came from and where are they now!

Apple made the loudest voice against bloomberg that's all but yes every single company denied it not just apple. Now there has been contradicting reports pointing fingers at the bloomberg report saying it's claims are dubious. We don't know what's true or not. But my earlier point I made was alot of users quickly comment here negatively on Apple when their own favourite brands are the same or worse which makes their comments redundant in a way. But there are some who make valid arguments and that's respectable and should be how it's done here and not just bashing for sake of taking sides which is kids playground stuff

And is anyone really surprised that scroogle has gone down this road? They have been selling out other companies over security for years, and yet, the tech journalists shamelessly fawn over the scroogle.

It is time for scroogle to feel the consequences of their many scummy behaviors.

I'm normally a fan of Google but this behaviour is poor and deserves a heavy fine.

For the folks complaining about android, save it. You’re buying a software that’s given FREE to vendors to use. That’s how you got your android phones for so cheap so don’t complain about google. Nothing is free in the world.

If Google is shutting down Google+, what's gonna happen to developers, dev. communities, Beta opt-ins and general G+ pages? Will they just stop existing altogether? What's gonna replace the dev & dev. pages and communities and the Beta opt-ins?
