Kiyasuriin, 10 Oct 2018Agreed! Memory expansion is all I miss on that beaury! ^^But some of the Acc-s (Docks) have that needed SD-slot!

or just buy a good Card-Reader.
    All the ZenFones support OTG.

But with the Proff. Dock you also have Gigabit LAN and as much storage as you like.
and also the USB-C is a speedy 3.1 one ..... or better 3 lol

I think neither of the trolls here have even heard about WiFi-ad.

Eh, I mean, I didn't expect it to be cheap. This is pretty worth it I think if you have Shadow. Not a bad phone at all

[deleted post]Lol, if you pronounce Asus as Ah sus, and say dumb before it, it's a pretty good workaround for a curse XD

But good that you caught me using a sweeping statement. We shall see how good this phone sales gonna be, "serious" gamers gonna have the best gaming phone no?

My bet is most are not serious enough to upgrade to this phone, as a opposed to upgrading their rigs or getting consoles.

Really solid specs, I guess the price is decent. Those accessories prices are off the walls though - I would seriously consider a mobile console (Switch or 3DS) before that, especially when the accessories so bulky that you need a bag to carry them anyway.

Anonymous, 10 Oct 2018 'Mobile gaming is not serious'...This is misconception bo... moreAgreed. ^^

Even without the accessories, a base price of $900 with 8GB RAM, 128GB storage, no notch, headphone jack, microSD card slot...is solid.

'Mobile gaming is not serious'...This is misconception born from superior PC master race. Mobile gaming has large player base (albeit casual) and revenue from so called casuals are very high (especially those freemium models). Also lulz for including Fear and WoW on your 'serious' Pc gaming. (fear series was for shits and giggles lets be honest)

If you mentioned games with some actual benefit on going onto PC (such as RTS genre or FPS, even MOBA, like CS:GO, Overwatch, LoL, SC etc) then maybe...but its not like games you mentioned are for PC gamers (just happened to be on PC that actually require KB & M)

Also serious does not equal competitive gaming either. There are mobile games that have debuted on e-sports scene, Vain Glory being a top example, not to mention fortnite and PYBG (although latter 2 are more of cross platform reasons..)

So dont go shitting on other peopel about 'serious' gaming. Apart from that, yeah PC experiences are better but that is also personal. Its like consolve VS PC.

For a completely feature packed phone with a lot of USB-C, headphone jack, stably overclocked SD845, it's a steal. I wish other phone manufacturers follow suit.

Doom / GW2 / World of Warcraft / Fear / GTA / . Mobile games focus too much on social aspects of things.. many casual players.. and IAPs.. I am not saying its bad, but just not for the serious gamers.

So what i prefer on a mobile is a GOOD desktop remote app, that can allow me access the game on my RIG. Any modern phone .. even less then $200 can do that.

Such as Remotr / Parallels Access (iPad) / Steam Link.

This phone in geekbench reaches 2500 in Single and 9000 in multi, however the GPD Win2 scores 2800 single core, but multi is just 6,000.
Ram is equal, Storage is Equal. (8 GB both, 128 GB min). However. I do agree the Intel HD is better.
Indeed, there are pros and cons to every device.

And with true dedicated Gaming features, no. As for generic gameplay they can.
