Google confirms the Pixel 3 and 3 XL only have gesture-based navigation

You should embrace the new gestures as Google isn't talking about the Pixels only.

AnonD-632062, 10 Oct 2018See. This just proves it. Google is blindly following Apple... moreAlthough I do hope an app that allows software buttons navigation can be created for those stuck on gesture based navigation ONLY like Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL. But seriously, Google, what's wrong with software buttons?? They are much easier to navigate, never mind the new app switcher since Pie. Just as the saying goes:"If it ain't broke, don't fix it."

making fun of Apple until we do like Apple, that's the Google and Samsung's way

It would be nice to see Google not enforce this on other developers and manufacturers, the reason many people choose android over IOS is due to the freedom it gives you to make your experience using the phone tailored exactly to your needs. Would hate if android was to become more closed in like IOS.

See. This just proves it. Google is blindly following Apple.

Not only do they imitate a very un-intuitive gesture-based navigation from Apple, they also impose it without providing the choice to the user.

Day by Day, Google implements a more closed version of Android, just like Apple iOS.

Thanks goodness, there are makers like Samsung & others, who provide the choice to users and treat the customer as king.

As they Believed the Gestures are good, so the Navigation Keys are killed with Google+...

The same way they Believed the deeper Notch is Perfect for them too... :D
