About time. Samsung kept the world back with its insistence in supporting legacy tech. Finally we'll get even more choice in usb-c / wireless accessories.

Fanboys won't like it. But then again fanboys never like what's best for them.

I just listen my music through Spotify, so it's okay to remove the 3.5mm jack (IMO).
People will forget and move on from it just like removeable battery.

"The reasoning behind this is that wireless headphones are becoming increasingly popular and according to Strategy Analytics, the global wireless earphone market will expand by 73.9 million units by 2019 and over 100 million in 2022. That's around 42% growth in three to four years."

That's BS probably bribed by (Cr)Apple. Did Strategy Analytics "traveled" to the future??

F*** you Samsung for "officially" joining Apple's "COURAGE" cult next year!! Once you're in, you can't go out unless you are brave like HTC did with U12 Life with a 3.5mm jack.

No I think they're gonna change their mind in the end, as they've already made fun of Apple on this point!
