Its an ancient technologgy which should never be invented or removed long time ago when wirelles and bluetooth options came out.
Your blabbing about the topic makes sense to your elf and many others which are unhappy with this decision. But everybody will soon or later move forwards and stop mourning on a jack grave.
And even an LG will remove jack in next year with its flagships and within year of 2022-2023 even its midrangers and low end smartphones will have no jack.

Withing the years of 2020 and 2022 All mid rangers will be lack of jack and at 2023 even a budget phones wont have it.
Only phones with physical buttons like Nokia is releasing.

Well i told that on every Samsung related post in 2019-2020 they will remove jack but nobody trust me.
Now everybody would apologize Hahaha.
Finaly a one good decision.
Anyway in foldable phone jack had no space.

I refuse to buy a phone without a headphone jack. Whether that means using nothing but non-flagship budget phones after 2018 or just using my current phone until it crumbles, then so be it.

IPhone start to ditch the 3.5mm jack and then Huawei, HTC, Sony, Pixel and finally Samsung. Just like the removable battery trends, nowadays every brand sealed-in the battery, people still leave with it.
