Anonymous, 12 Oct 2018This is slow imo, especially when like 3 or 4 Huawei Phones... moreYou mean Pie BETA? Which means Non-beta users or let's just say "Average users" don't have it. Lol

Shanti Dope, 12 Oct 2018Good to hear! Still not a fan of over-cluttered appearance ... moreYeah Nougat 7.0 and up is where it really feels polished. I like the fluidity of stock Android but I just feel like it's missing a little touch of magic from the manufacturer.

XZ2 compact is receiving the update too

THUNDER, 12 Oct 2018You just trolled yourself Note9 will get pie in april and ... moreEven faster and I know what I will show you the XZ3 vs the iPhone XS Max but the XZ2 will be as faster as the XZ3 in Android 9 Pie

They hate them because they want money from Sony and Sony doesn't market their phones, which hurts their sales.

Anonymous, 12 Oct 2018This is slow imo, especially when like 3 or 4 Huawei Phones... moreYeah ANDROID PIE, in beta. The rate Sony is going for software updates is already ahead of most brands, and u still say it's slow, really to be honest what are u smokin'? If it's faster it'll most probably have more bugs than currently. But even if Sony's current rate of releasing software updates isn't as crazy as the "fast" u might as well say, I'd recommend them to slow things down a little, in case of bugs and issues in that update

The auto-hide navigation bar feature seems to have disappeared. Now the control buttons are permanently visible at the bottom of the screen. Please fix Sony.

Anonymous, 12 Oct 2018This is slow imo, especially when like 3 or 4 Huawei Phones... moreThat is not true. None of the Huawei phones have a final 9 version. In fact the mate 20 pro will be the 1st phone to have pie which will launch next week

                      You just trolled yourself
Note9 will get pie in april and here my xz2 is so smooth on pie and running apps on the level of pixel and iphone x (ios12)

So why can't Android One program become a trend??
Everybody wants to join the $1000 smartphone price trend (yet barely doing it right), but almost no one wants to play in the $300 flagship-level smartphone devices.
I'm afraid that the Xiaomi Pocophone F1 will be the last of its own kind, and $1000 price becomes the new $600 of the past few years.

Can finally disable vibration for fingerprint and when selecting an item in gallery. Small stuff but it is still nice to have the option.

Can somebody confirm about the Gesture UI? Can we enable it?

I love to try that, and want to change my Xperia X for newer Xperia device if SONY added the stock gesture UI.

ahh, update isnt available in my place...yet.

Baje, 12 Oct 2018You know after the Razer phone 2 announcement I realised ev... moreAnd the Razor phone was pretty underwhelming too, yet the matter of fact that it's a gaming phone pretty much eliminates those cons so easily.
The XZ Premium of last year, paired with XZ2 Premium's hardware and XZ3's 4K HDR version of its OLED screen would easily kill any new smartphone of 2018, and might remain a big rival for the first half of 2019.

I mean, look how compelling the XZ Premium still is!
It's a monstrous phone that it's still being used for comparison to newer smartphones! Yet nobody does the same thing for the S8/S8+, and even the Note 8.

That's two different things, and to take note, the XZ3 is the first smartphone to come with Android Pie out of the box, just like last year's XZ1 and XZ1 Compact being the first devices to come with Android Oreo out of the box.

You know after the Razer phone 2 announcement I realised everyone hates Sony for no reason! Imagine that phone has Sony's monolithic design but is praised by almost all the reviewers that bashed Sony, from the giant bezels down to the design got praised but when Sony was doing it all they got was hate.
