    Awesome, Sony.

      I was for one pleasently surprised when I saw Sonys XZ3 Pie with no gestures UI.
      Let Google and its Pixels follow the iphone notches and gestures nonsense, we dont care...

        This is slow imo, especially when like 3 or 4 Huawei Phones already have Pie

          In the old Samsung was way too clustered and slow. But I could remove much of the bloatware (google) removed, instead of disabling them on my S8!

            I was always criticizing Sammy for being bloated to the max. Then I got an S8+ and realized you can UNINSTALL almost everything on it WITHOUT root.
            "adb shell pm uninstall - - user 0 package"
            I've uninstalled even the always on display feature among many many others.
            Yeah, the regular user would never achieve this, but tech enthusiasts and geeks will love it.
            BUT, my phone is still on oreo 8.0.0
            Sammy sux when it comes to updates, while Sony ROCKS!

              I agree, gestures on Android are pretty bad. What's also pretty bad is that Google will be FORCING us to use it. Yeah, they tweeted about it.

                          You can install as many bullsh*t on your phone as you want, but if you don't want them, you can keep it near stock like Sony's Xperia Home. Sadly, you can't do that on other non-near stock Android devices, unless of course you go beyond the limits of an average user.

                                    you must be kidding lol... samsung ui is horrible... sony ui is so nice, clean and fast!
                                    had a s7 and it was a nightmare.. really no match

                                    btw, got pie stable also on my xz2compact, installed flawlessly and working great!
