Check out the Nokia Store if you're so interested, and you'll find its still growing. Hardly the sign of a "dead" OS is it?

In your opinion, I suppose Flash for Android is dead too? Lol. HTML is the future, as predicted.

[deleted post]Why does the fact that other companies provide technology mean anything at all? And if the phone is so "cheap" to build and crap, why is it outselling so many Android devices?

I could say the same thing about the Galaxy S2. The paper thin back cover and the plastic must have been put together cheaply. That doesn't mean that it is a bad device?

You might as well be arguing that poor battery life is a FEATURE on Android devices. Lol Lol Lol.

And most iOS users are denying that it is an issue compared to previous iphones. So someone else is clearly at fault here.

It's OS is boring but fully featured, regardless if you think it's dead or not. The only hopeless one here is you, for assuming I'm some Nokia fanboy! I have mostly apple products. The N8, putting aside your opinions, IS a smartphone and has great battery life.

even assembling is done by chinese.

crapple is a software company, but since we already have M$ and Linux...do we really need another os?

Anonymous, 12 Nov 2011Hypocritical really, when this has been going on for years ... moreEverybody knows that Android uses a lot of battery power, due to components/OS. That's not a problem, it's almost intentional. Whereas many iPhone's are suffering a genuine bug with it, which Apple have acknowledged. So your argument is invalid.

To any fandroids calling this "batterygate"... Android phones have HORRIBLE battery life. Batterygate belongs to them, not Apple. I have 2 devices running iOS 5, neither are experiencing any battery life problems. My iPad STILL gets 10 hours of solid use on a single charge.

[deleted post]Of course it is. Probably not as good as a cheap bug ridden Android eh? If people start to own a real iPhone instead of imagining about the phone, then I'm sure their opinion would be different ;)
