Problem with all you guys is that you DON'T READ:
While setting up the face unlock , it says in big bold words:
1. FACE RECOGNITION IS LESS SECURE THAN A PATTERN, PIN OR A PASSWORD.
2. SOMEONE WHO LOOKS SIMILAR TO YOU COULD UNLOCK YOUR PHONE.
Maybe next time, you would give more attention to details. IT'S ALREADY MENTIONED THERE WHAT IT CAN DO AND WHAT NOT. START READING!!
To GSMARENA: Next time, just stop posting useless/pointless/age-old news. This was already talked and discussed in so many forums. It's already so boring that I died a thousand deaths for simply replying here. It's not funny anymore. Give some fresh news, stop posting just to get comments.

It is a well known fact already, that it is very easy to steal any biometric data info like a fingerprint, facelook, voice... It is shown even in every other hollywood supersecretfacilityhijacking blockbuster (they even ususally steal someones eyeball for that, :O). This is why keeping password inside of your brain will always be safer than a belief, that nobody else than you will know your real face :)

Funny how the comment section is suddenly all about Siri. If I'm not mistaken, this article is about Face Unlock on ICS, and how it fails.

Anonymous, 13 Nov 2011No, I want to hear about your experience with Siri,if you r... moreUs employees get phones through work every year, and this year we got a iPhone 4S each. So it wasn't personal choice to buy iPhone.
I have tried looking for clothing shops, telling it to write messages to specific people in my phone book, do updates on facebook and so on just for testing.
Personally i don't use my Iphone 4S outside work, and especially Siri, don't use it anywhere. There is something about people talking to their phone that makes me think they are lonely and creepy and desperate in need of real friends.

Anonymous, 13 Nov 2011So go on, explain to me how Siri works. Explain how Siri works? Why? Are the functions of Siri supposed be a big secret or something? Type Siri on Google and you will find hundreds of websites including Apple that explains it to you. No need for me to waste time and explain it.

Anonymous, 13 Nov 2011I think you'll also find that iphone has had a voice featur... moreYeah, since day one.. but before day one, google had already had that tech, just that they didn't have a phone yet.. and guess what, that same voice control you mentioned was linked to google search engine..
Oh, no, they don't innovate their voice control.. it's the same crap since day one.. they bought over Siri and use that, integrate it with the OS to certain extent, and voila, you get "NEW" tech.. so, no, they didn't innovate that tech feature, they bought over something that was 80% done and finish it off, and call it their own innovation..

Blankman, 13 Nov 2011I think you need to get a clue as you don't know how Siri w... moreI, that is your iApples excuse for everything, blaming fanboys.
I'm fanboy of nothing and don't like Android. I use all phones and all OS and whatever pleases me at that time.
Fanboy culture and fighting over phones is beyond my understanding.
But i will critisize any company, phone, OS or comment that i find has deep issues with double standard.
I notices how Apple users always choose what they want to answer from a comment.
You wrote that i don't know how Siri works when i wrote that Siri is rip-off from Android Voice Actions.
But you didn't answer why iPhone can be easily unlocked by a non authorized person using Siri, when you were calling Androids face unlocking a fail and and praising Siri.
I have Siri in front of me right now, so don't give me that bs you Apple fanboys always spit

AnonD-9023, 13 Nov 2011"Siri is the biggest rip-off from Android Voice Action... more"and now Eric (CEO) is beating his head since every 4S user is using Siri instead of google search. and soon their search business on mobile phones go u_u (just like flash) and mobile-ads also effected adversely.
Because now android has Siri copycat (Iris) and who use google search now ?"
Haha, by saying that people now use Siri instead of google search really proves the point that google had it first, and when siri came along, they started to use it..
Who use google search? Well, safari has google search tab, iPhone uses google maps, and Siri search information from Google.com.. ooopppsss... Apple don't have search engine of its own, dude.. they still riding on google's features..
