- 3.5 mm headphone
- Microsd card support
- Spen support
And now
- these features..
Wow My dream device..

Holes in the screen is also not a very good solution. what's the problem with small bezel until you can hide the camera under the screen? I understand it can be problematic right now, but I think it can be solved by hardware and software. Maybe full screen until you need front camera and then part of the screen where camera is placed becomes transparent. The screen itself will look smaller but just for the duration of the selfie or video call.

Anonymous, 20 Oct 2018Correct!There's an old article about sony (year 2012 maybe?) With that same stuff. I don't know what happened to that.

Anonymous, 21 Oct 2018The front camera is in fact uselessOnly useless if you have no one to video call.

They were also working on foldable phone for years, I haven't seen one yet...

And in fact Samsung was not the first to be released but Vivo, Huawei, Xiaomi, Sony or Oppo were the first. It's just a trick to name brands and so people like Samsung. Samsung is not the best brand, they have produced a failed product (Galaxy Note7).

Right now Samsung is the emperor of OLED display....their own mobiles (starting mid-range) offering great display tech for many years across spectrum. Others tried, even in Mac's(iMac or MBP) Samsung displays are defect free and good....

I think it was the Sharp Aquos. See when that was announced and you will know the time since people were thinking/talking about this stuff.

SinrOne, 20 Oct 2018Its been talked about for years. So not really your thing is it.Where exactly has it been talked about? Provide some source, I wanna see.

Come on samsung. Only you can save us from the hideous notch.

Can’t wait to see this tech implemented properly on the next iPhones. Because we all know samsung makes the displays, but Apple uses them better and at their fullest potential.

Nice innovation!

Samsung is not "the only company to stay away from notches" though. Sony, HTC, smartisan and 360 don't use notches either, and Meizu only has one notched phone(X8).
