HA! Fortunately I did not bet my money on Nokia..... Prefer Huawei instead as far as China branded phones are concerned. Xiaomi will even be a better choice than Nokia.

Nokia 8 Sirocco was never meant to be the proper flagship... it is simply design-focused. That name 'Sirocco' tells it all. The actual high-end flagship is Nokia 8 and in the future will be Nokia 9 (which still hasn't been announced!)

The current HMD Nokia has definitely lost the papers.
Only Nokia remains the name.
*It has been a project to launch the company again with the Android OS totally failed.
*They have not been able to enter the Android market in time;
*Very slow when launching new devices;
*No marketing campaign to try to sell their devices;
*They have not presented anything innovated in the market;
*Their designs are copy-cats of the designs that are already on the market making it often impossible to distinguish a Nokia from a Huawei, or from another phone that carries notch.
*Confusing names in their ranges: 7; 7 plus; 7.1; 7.1 Plus which it is very difficult to see the features differences between them.
*Overpriced devices like this Nokia Sirocco ... Have you try the Xiaomi Pocophone F1 ???. That's amazing !!! Premium features phone and it costs 350 EUR only !!!!
In summary: HMD Nokia is a total failure.

I can visualice the Nokia comercials trying to sell you the Nokia 8.1 as the best, Ohhh look at that, is the best of the best from Nokia. The succesor of the mythical Nokia 8 that lasted few months. Buy one! (" Of course, avoiding comment you that now is a mid range phone... making comparisons with others, taking photos is forbidden because they take up space..."). And if you have behaved well, you will be given a pin for your clothes with your new sheep number.

Well, I'm a Nokia fan, and honestly I wasn't impressed with that device's specs. I mean, I'm using a Nokia 8, which apart from a miserably bad camera in low lights, is pretty much stellar. And if you compare Sirocco and the Standard 8, the former doesn't really stand out. It's only cool feature is perhaps its name. :D Also it came out with SD835 and is like 10 months old now. It was about time.

Glad to see it go. Worst phone they've made so far. The original 8 was the better all-rounder

It came to my notice yesterday that the price of Nokia 8 Sirocco has down.....in India.
Many of the retail store chains are still having Nokia 8 Sirocco stock...they started retailing it for Rs 36999 plus there are some cash back offers......so cool ;-)
I bought mine yesterday.....
But as mentioned on the your site....I too fear it may be the last of the stocks.... I am guessing Nokia 9 must be on the way...

If it had dual sim, no edge, 3800 battery like Nokia 7 plus, no heating issue, aptx support, better wifi and mobile internet speed, I would have bought it in a heartbeat but I think I would go for Oneplus 5T now asihate Oneplus 6 (for the notch).
