LG Q3 report: profits increase as smartphones lose less money

          Lg management is suck and lazy. Lazy to advertise and promote their mobile phones product divison.

          Idk dont seen any advert of Lg mobile or on sell at the local shop in the country but home appliances product is everywhere.

                2nd screen is very subjective opinion. But Other phones are having tall screen, unremovable battery, and still selling well, or better. So why do they have to keep the old trend?

                What I don't want to see missing is sd card slot, a versatile tool to rescue you data when sh*t happen to your phone.

                  Really wished LG did not remove these features in their recent flagships:
                  1. dual sim + dedicated micro sd card slot (not hybrid dual sim where a user that always uses dual sim is forced to sacrifice storage expansion for the second sim)
                  2. IR blaster (really convenient; sadly gone starting with the V30; now, only Huawei and Xiaomi phones have them)
                  3. Removable batteries (gone starting with the V30; no phones now have removable batteries. Removable 3500-4000mAh battery would have been a perfect upgrade from the V20's removable 3200mAh
                  battery).
                  4. Second screen (gone starting with the V30). It was perfect for accessing frequently used shortcuts (remote, calculator, flashlight, reminders/to do list/shopping list) and also serves as a banner screen for displaying greetings/quotes of the month: "Merry Christmas!", "Count your blessings!" etc.
                  5. 16:9 screen. I just find 16:9 screens display photos, videos, news sites, ebooks, webpages, social media feeds and games better both in portrait and landscape without losing space to black bars or without appearing narrowly congested.

                    Stop using Mediatek processors in Q series.

                      Finally some good news. I love my v30 , its the best phone that you can buy below 500$ right now (even better than some phones that cost 1000$). You have an amazing oled screen, an exceptional QUADDAC (you'll never be able to use a smartphone without one of this after you try it), and a very usefull wide angle camera (120 degrees FOV), also the phone is very thin and easy and runs better than an s9 which haves a better processor and more ram (check on YTB lg v30 vs s9).

                          But HTC camera tech, and sell them screens. Then consider a decent sized battery.

                            Fast software updates, increase battery capacity and proper marketing then lg will be back in business

                                Now, LG only needs the quick updates for me to consider them.
                                Though I gotta say, the G7 is looking very nice

                                    Hope LG succeeds. They actually make pretty good smartphones, which also thankfully keep the 3.5 mm jack and the microSD card slot.

                                    What they need is good marketing.
