The last Oracle, 28 Oct 2018I thought about it. Samsung, since the death of Steve Jobs ... moreExcellent recommendations to help Samsung see the bigger picture. Plenty more similar ones on my end but unfortunately Samsung doesn't see us as required talent or they would have gone out of their way to hire us...

Sadly, Samsung rather divert resources to hand out free phones on flights from Spain or like recently in a village called Appel in the Netherlands instead of listening to consumer feedback... How about they make a front-page word guessing win a Samsung Galaxy game ?? Right ??

Anyone who says a worthy recommendation should automatically get hired by these big companies as it always takes just that little bit to shine.

lyndino, 26 Oct 2018What's the deal with hating the curved screen? It's comfort... moreCurved screens do look amazing but do have issues as they are simply CURVED TOO MUCH. THE BEND/FLEX IS TOO BIG AND SHOULD BE MINIMAL AT MOST.

"who the heck wants a home button these days??? I can't believe that everyone has to complain about everything."

I would actually consider a home button as long as it would be much much smaller than the Note4/5/7 button but I do hate bezels so they're kinda off my list.

Best thing for Samsung would be to stop putting on-screen navigation buttons and put them into the bottom chin bezel as capacitive touch buttons to free the screen from wasted space...

If they can't do that then at least they should provide a touch-and-drag feature setting to minimize or enlarge the on-screen navigation buttons to people's liking as per increasing/decreasing font sizes.

Walter C. Dornez, 26 Oct 2018Wow, you sound so excited, kinda like Kristen Stewart"Great. Very exciting."

That comment could either be sarcastic, shown in a way like you present it with Kristen Stewart or actually enthusiastic but in a simple manner.

Its1ds, 26 Oct 2018The closer the launch gets, the less special the S10 gets..... moreIt's going to be special even so a little bit whether you like it or not since there will be newer hardware inside.

Anonymous, 26 Oct 20183-phone lineup! This sounds familiar! Oh yeah, Apple iPhone... more3 choices are better to choose from rather than just 1 but if all 3 suck then there's a problem.

Whackcar, 26 Oct 2018Yes they all take inspiration from each other, but most man... more"Any good feature from any OEM should get adopted by other OEMs, but bad ones shouldn't..."

One more thing, never, ever should features be removed...*cough* IR *cough* 3.5 jack *cough* UNLESS they are going to be SUCCEEDED by a SUPERIOR version that is much more convenient and universal to use.

No, wifi remote or wireless headphones don't count.

What counts is the USB-C win over MICRO-USB.

Now if we can get USB-A to be like USB-C in their respective sizes then that is a WIN.

Dear Sammy...can we just make a 16:9 or 17:9 aspect ratio flat 6.2" all screen S10 with top specs, very good camera and a 4000+mAh battery. That's right up my alley.
OR a flat all screen Note 10 with a 16:9 or 17:9 aspect ratio, top specs and a humongous 4500+mAh battery.
There are many fans who want to see a 6.2"--6.4" top spec 16:9 aspect ratio flat full-screen phone, 2.5D glass, a huge battery, very good camera, good speakers and ampule storage plus SD card expansion.
The only device i see close to this even tho not ideal is the Razer phone 2. Wished the screen was 6"+ bigger this time.

Samsung's foldable display feels like vaporware. Been hearing about it for years and Samsung keeps delaying it year after year. Maybe Samsung is too busy copying Apple like slowing down phones to not care about foldables. We will finally see foldables from Samsung once Apple releases it.

I despise Samsung. I will never like this brand. I don't always trust LG but my experiences with LG has been far superior than Samsung's. Any time I see a Samsung BOGO deal, discounts, or added freebies, I still don't pay attention to them. Team Pixel for life.

Samsung ruins the Android experience that Google envisions.

MrGrumpy, 28 Oct 2018Well thanks for nothing Samsung. How about a proper mini wi... moreI HOPE SOOOOOOOOO, I'm android use but i bought Iphone 7 as a second phone there there small screen and handy use.

I thought about it. Samsung, since the death of Steve Jobs has become the prime innovator in the space of Smartphones. The only problem, is, it has not been able to monopolize many of its tech specifically for its own betterment (creating DRAM which is atleast a generation ahead of other smartphones; while its SoC journey began extremely well, it was unable to maintain the lead foe the last 2 iterations, so it's needs to re-think it's processor architecture and also concentrate on multiple ISPs handling different parts of image processing separately and simultaneously; designing image sensors, and also ensuring that they maintain the lead by a noticeable margin; their new S Pen with the built in capacitor is superb, they should now aim for adding a larger capacitor and adding even more functionality; they need to work on improving Sensor designs and capabilities and exploring collaborations with Fairchild Imaging as well as ON Semiconductor to redesign small sensors from the ground up, especially since they missed buying Toshiba's sensor division when they should have; also collaborate with Fujifilm to increase the light wavelengths of CFA so that they can make up for some of the sensor limitations
Samsung also needs to explore acquisitions of start-ups especially in the Imaging and Processors landscape a lot more aggressively.

It's accessories roadmap hasn't been as stellar as it should be (especially in comparison with Apple) They should have created a new USB standard or connection pin that allows for the industry's fastest transfer speeds as well as adding accessories for photography, videography, editing and for recording or composing music on its smartphones. Plus Samsung should concentrate on create Samsung Explusive Apps on the Play store that help improve its lead other other OEMs.

I have hope that if any smartphone maker can truly help you get rid of your point for travel photography and photography, it is Samsung.
