Any phone i would like to have more than apple.
Had iphone 6 for 3 months long time ago when it was released and sold it as soon as i could.
I really dislike or hate when a phone thinks he is smarter than I.

IGZO certified LCD screen with 120 Hz refresh rate nothing is better.

Infact I prefer LCD over oled, if it's top notch quality.. 2 months back I opted for Samsung Q led instead of Sony OLED, just because Oled hurts my eyes.. I prefer High quality LCD.. not some poor cheap IPS.. the XR has probably the best LCD I have seen, the colors, viewing Angle and the sunlight legit is top notch. The only thing I am hating about the XR is the absence of 3D touch. While some may call it gimmick, I am so much used to it now, that on my ipad it's like a sore in the use

It's the media that constantly called this "budget". Of course the android army will continue to spread this to inflame hate towards a product they think is in the same league as their cheap and truly budget android phones.
In 2018-2019 the best iPhone to get for price conscious people is clearly the iPhone 7. This has been the strategy of Apple for years. Previous flagship models becomes the "entry" points for those who wants a good iPhone but not necessarily the best.

It's a great phone with an OK screen and a few annoyments (no headphone jack) which more and more flagships also share. That's different from being a budget phone.

I also prefer the aluminum sides of the XR. I don't like the steel banding on the X/XS because it scratches easier. Still, if it came down to size and better in-hand feel, I would go for the XS in silver. Looks the same as last year's X but I prefer that size.
Like I said many times before, I actually like the iPhone HARDWARE. It does feel premium. But I dislike the software. If I preferred iOS over Android, I would be all over this and would've camped out for one. I'm not. I hate using iTunes and all the other restrictions.
If I bought another iPhone, I bet in a few months I would just get bored of the XS or XR and sell it on Craigslist. Then I'd probably use the money to buy the smaller Pixel 3. Waste of money and time if you ask me.
My first choice is really Pixel 3 but I think I'm better off waiting for the successors with more rear camera lens and RAM. OnePlus 6T is too tall. Pixel 3 almost got there for my personal taste. Perhaps Pixel 4 & 5 will reach that summit.
