Xiaomi is the future, for example: Pocophone F1 is the BEST phone: Premium features and it costs almost EUR 350 .... THAT'S GREAT !!!!!
Sony and Nokia have got something like this ???? HAHAHAHA ...
So you can keep making a fool of yourself by buying expensive phones from Sony or Nokia. Meanwhile I happy with Xiaomi and at a price without competition.

And the software support is good in sony phone unlike samsung,
For the budget china phone, xiaomi, they cost cheap bcoz of less aftersale service, and ad. in stock software
Other chinese phone have lackluster software support

- All cheap phones don't need aftersales services. Just like xiaomi and most china brands. It's ok to replace it every year because these phones are cheap.
- xperia is expensive. But with very bad aftersales services.

They lack marketing with the Xperia line. I see little to no advertising every single year since Z5. At 2015 they really promoted it and it showed. It's sales were alright for a change and Sony seemed to promoting their phones better.
Some marketing and after watching and reading many reviews, i purchased my very 1st smartphone, Sony Xperia Z5. Still rocking it I don't see any tempting phones from Sony except XZ premium. That mirror finish is just... No words to describe it. Unique, elegant etc. But since then I don't see any Xperia phone getting my attention. They even removed jack and put the 18/9 screen? No, sorry Sony.
You had a style and uniqueness, now you follow trends.
Still, you could at least follow what the others do as well if you are into this, market the hell out of your phones!

Phone its self better than my iphone but lack of availability at offline store.
I grab iphone but actually looking for sony XZ3.

They need to make a really flagship phone like with triple camera (monochrome, ultrawide, telephoto), dual stereo speakers, screen with notchless oled is already great, bigger capacity batteries, infrared, 5G, 7nm or less processors. Im still waiting for the xz4 or xz3 premium or whatever next flagship with my specified specs.

The only one thing I'm missing in XZ3 is fingerprint sensor on the left, headphone jack... and old omnibalance design.
I just want something like my XZ1 but with better specs, thats it, and I will not hesitate to buy it.

Figures, their phones have been pretty dodgy for years, I'm still using a Z3c because nothing released since has been worth side-grading too as you lose more than you gain. The XZ2c would have been great had they not dropped the QI charging from the main phone (and killed the 3.5mm jack).

Sony isn't OnePlus - it isn't a startup company that started a few years ago. It's a venerable brand. Sony needs to work on MARKETING. Like, as much as I love Sony, they never advertise their stuff with the exception of the PlayStation brand. How do you expect, in a market that's more than oversaturated, to NOT market the heck out of your product and have it sell decently?
I've said it many times throughout the years - Sony has amazing engineers, but horrible marketing skills. And this comes from an enormous Sony fan.

Yeah, Sony, just you listen to web troll opinions about designs, them are not even potential customers...
And just go on and dont listen to your fan base, remove the jack, make a Xperia Galaxy phone.
Give oled, cause none cares, oleds are everywhere anyhow...
Dont pay incentives to reviewers and yt testers, they ll cherrytop the competiton and deliberately make false tests(like that whosetheboss guy for example) to trash your products.
And No need for marketing the only worth the attention XZ2 Premium either, why market the best cam setup phone indeed...

Sony can't go and price their phones at Apple or even Samsung rates. They need to realize their mobile business is at the brink of collapse. Price your phones competitively. OP started small and now the OP 6T is only $50-$100 less than Samsung's S9. And a lot of people are into OP phones now. Genius!

They need to stop with the F2.0 and F1.9, non OIS cameras in their smartphones. Also remove the vibration crap making the phone 12mm thick and put in a big battery.

Haha.. this is what happens when you don't listen to your customers and fans, good to see them scaling back their business in many countries like Indonesia and India, won't be long until Sony mobile disappears from the market.
But really, the way Sony fanboys on gsma praise Sony and troll on other brands Sony should be number one surpassing Xiaomi, Apple, one plus, Huawei Samsung..
