Xiaomi trolls OnePlus fans with a calculator giveaway

The fans were expected to “do the math” and find out that the Poco F1 is way cheaper than the OnePlus 6T.

    Pocophone has one lacking feature that would be the dealbreaker of all dealbreakers; That feature is Widevine L1 Codec. What's the use of a 1080p screen if it never does 1080p streaming at all!? As soon as Xiaomi Poco decides to recall all phones and add the coded, the hijack advertising strategy would've worked. Without Widevine L1, this phone sucks. I now realize and justify phones with a higher price tags now.

      Xiaomi, Really? Xiaomi knows they can't sell phones if they are priced anywhere near OP's price range and hence settled at 21k, and with all the drawbacks it has, it doesn't even worthy to buy it, even at its price.

        - What Poco doesn't tell you is that they use a low grade LCD screen for their phone with light bleeding, poor viewing angles and poor colors.
        - What they don't tell you is that their phone has cheap plastic construction and GG3 that breaks in even a single drop.
        - What they don't tell you is that they force full blown ads malware in your face all through their UI.
        - What they don't tell you is that they offer inferior cameras.
        - What they don't tell you is that they offer inferior charging technology.
        - What they don't tell you is that they have a poor Android update track record.
        - What they don't tell you is that they don't offer you NFC.

        Although it's a great deal for the price, it can't ever substitute for the OnePlus experience. Never!

          Poco is representing the early days of OnePlus when they were still starting.
          Flagship performance at a mid range price, without really cutting costs in a lot of ways.
          I'm just afraid that they would also take OnePlus's path of improving the phone quality, but also annually increasing the prices of the phones gradually.

            Very well done xiaomi. In nearly 4 years oneplus increased their flagship price by 200%.they started with cheap price and flagship features and went up to compiting price to samsung flagships.

              well... let's say the f1's notch is not ideal. but huge is different. the only huge one I know is the one from google pixel 3.

                  My friend have a poco f1 with 8gb model with lineage os installed and gcam mod, it's very fast with custom rom amd the battery backup with lineage is soooo huge in f1, only thing Xiaomi had to improve is an stock like os, and idk why so many people complains about the camera, i have seen so many people that don't use camera more than 1 or 2 times a day, o rarely open the Camara

                    i rather chose oneplus 6t over f1 for better build material, amoled display, much smaller notch, larger display, in-display fingeprint, clean no bloatware os, better global network support, much better camera performance, nfc, more faster charging, gorilla glass 6, etc

                        Not surprised. OnePlus prices are getting absurd. They hold nothing better over the competitor. (Hey that rhymed)

                          Oneplus should make 6C to combat poco in its price segment. Value minded buyers do not care if Oneplus 6t has better design when that costs almost double the pocophone. 6C could have 5T exterior with sd845 internals. Price it to match poco and boom you have new best value smartphone!

                              I don't like Pocophone but why are you putting in-display fingerprint scanner as a plus? It is slower as of OP6T and doesn't offer anything over traditional one other than the "cool" factor

                                pocophone has a huge notch,, lcd and plastic body, but it has headphone jack, notification led, bigger battery, ir camera for better face unlock and a much much better price! in india nobody wants the new oneplus, everyone already owns a poco!! #neverseattle

                                  I will never prefer F1 over OP6T. Poco can never beat 6T in design but they are also acting like huwawei did on iPhone XS and XS MAX event. Fxxxking Jealous ppl..

                                    They have posted many ads to counter oneplus. But oneplus already won trust of Indian customers. So it will not heart oneplus. Poco looks cheap compared to oneplus
