Wallpaper rolls that are actually "foldable"/"rollable" screens so that entire walls in apartments are a big screens, that is "the future"!

Gandalfdenvite, 02 Nov 2018Why? I can see no progress/improvement by making a foldable... moreYou my friend, clearly haven't used a Samsung phone in real life.

Anonymous, 02 Nov 2018If you think this phone is not the future you are double di... moreOh please. Al your propaganda is fine until the damn thing breaks down!

Hauwei has a "small" problem with their curved screens and the world comes to a screeching stop. Imagine how quickly these ultra-fragile bendable screens will fare. Especially if it's "Chinese Crap™"

There's nothing wrong from being a realist.

Gandalfdenvite, 02 Nov 2018Why? I can see no progress/improvement by making a foldable... moreI'm sure if some other company comes out with one you will be singing their praises right?? Haha the point of a bendable phone is the future my old fashioned friend, wearable, foldable tablet phones heck even ipad sized devices that one day will fold up to the size of an iPhone xs, wrap around displays, not just slightly curved, but totally wrappable around objects that kind of future, the tech is in its infancy but one day will be mainstream, and the whiney dinosaurs will be left behind 😂😂😂😂😂

Anonymous, 02 Nov 2018If you think this phone is not the future you are double di... moreUnder the screen front facing camera, and under the screen fingerprint scanner, that is "the future", not a bulky bendable screen!

Why? I can see no progress/improvement by making a foldable phone, just as curved screen is pointless and ugly with glares/reflections and accidental touches! Not everything "new" is "the future"! Samsung are so fixated on their ability to curve/bend screens!

If you think this phone is not the future you are double digit IQ.

in 2007 people were like: " No way Im giving up on my physical keyboard" 2018: "No way I'm buying a flexible phone.

If you dont understand tech development and that development strives towards practicality and ease of use you go buy the Nokia 3310.

But I get it, I get it, It's cool to hate on new tech, because cutting edge tech can be looked at as "nerdy". Its cooler to use design thats a bit old and tried and tested.. Its a consequemce of hipster culture unfortunately.. Also if you dont like to carry a phone that folds out to a tablet, then stick with your "notchy abomination" for 10 more years until it become rusty!!

Excited for this as a _FIRST STEP_ towards what a foldable future could be. Someone's gotta step up, take a risk, and probably lose money. Kudos to those that do. For the haters, pipe down. It's literally the very first one. Imagine a future where you had a 20" display you could fold several times to get varying sizes as you need them. That's a future I'm interested in, and getting there will take more than a 1st draft.

So it is like a flip phone.......
I have an idea if any big guys in the corporation are listening: why not sliding cameras that you can slide the cameras from the back to the front for selfies.

                          mehh...

Ugly, expensive, not useful. I'm more excited with that ZTE Nubia X.

I find it bizarre that I now live in a world where things like this are being produced by multiple manufacturers, yet Sony and Apple are the only companies still producing regular sized (not plus or phablet) smartphones with decent specs...

Interesting, 2019 will be the foldable year. Looking forward for this device, success or not - time will tell.

Let this phone be the Concept one... We don't need the Foldable devices that sooner if its that expensive... The current focus should be upon maximum Screen to Body Ratio...
