Huawei Finland will replace Mate 20 Pro handsets with faulty screens

For now, it looks like the issue is going to be handled on a per-market basis.

It's not too bad to be honest but it's still noticeable, but only when the screen is fairly dim and against a black/grey screen.

Besides I don't see anyone stating anywhere that Huawei centers are refusing to receive those devices

                                    Not all markets are equal,or better say no all customers are equal.
                                    I live in eastern europe,so here we are aware of these kind of corporate practices.Years after years indipendant bodies rise this question about the difference in quality amongs the products in western and eastern europe.Everything from food to washing detergent is of lower quality(or standards) and that pass as a normal thing,bcz of our servile and corrupt politicians.
                                    Back on topic,service and aftersale support for smartphones are not equal also.No matter if I also buy ftom T-mobile,its not the same as in Germany for example.They could easily said -“it doesnt affect product functionality” and end of story.
                                    Ariel or Mate20pro,the underlying problem is the same.

                                      Yes some Mate 20 Pros are equiped with LG display while majority have BOE, the issue is similar to what V30 suffered last year though there is no confirmation the issue is present on LG made panels or BOE so I'm just speculating
