Replacing such devices is only fair option here. I hope they do that in all countries.

Akaike, 03 Nov 2018LCD for the win! This is what happens when you don't decide to swallow your pride and buy Samsung AMOLED.
But real talk, as much as I love AMOLED, the new LCD technology seems to be better, or at the very least, equal in advantages with AMOLED

I personally spoke to my network yesterday and they are going to replace my phone once the stock comes in, and I'm in the UK.

This is literally all they need to say to make this right. If it's only a small portion then it's no big deal right? That's if it's only a small number...

Going back to the topic..It seems that the origin of this report was from reddit after the first week from being purchased. It would be more pleasing if they just stated that they are investigating it than just saying they refuse to comment yet. But that's just my 2 cents.

MadMel, 03 Nov 2018exactly...about how many phones with faulty screen are we t... moreAnd theirs the big question.. When is Huawei going to provide some feed back on the matter? And based on the current news it seems to be a big deal since the phone was just release recently and a good number of users are already experiencing this while not that many of this phones are sold. So having 1000000 of this particular model out in the wild and having several dozens or hundreds even experiencing such issue is a still an issue and not just isolated matter anymore.

                              LCD for the win!
