No headphone jack, USB 2.0 where other similarly priced phones have USB 3.0 or 3.1.
Love Dash charging but the phone got too bulky. No oneplus for me until things change

These statements seem BIAS to us Android Truthers / Users. Is he trying to be "neutral" to OnePlus or what?! Even if the ed**or feels is too many times, he should still mention these for the new readers. So, ed**or, even if listening through Bluetooth headphones is your so-called preference, the entire audio industry disagrees with you on not having 3.5mm jack as a CHOICE & a must-have.

Well-written article, with persuasive points. If your phone is working quite well, it certainly doesn’t make sense to upgrade until the new phone is really worth it. On another note, that guy in the portrait shot is beautiful.

OnePlus 6T secondary is useless. This time they have to provide at least wide angle lens.

lemme tell you smth, the last flagship i bought use snapdragon 820-821. Now i settle with 625 and 660, the reason? I like gaming alot. sure, 8xx series is fast, benchmark killer, what i dislike is its getting hot as hell, and dont tell me 835 doesnt throttle, hell yeah they are
My friend use samsung s8 with 835 playing mobile legend 3 match straight with medium play length each match.
Around mid of 3rd games it lags, phone getting super hot, when match 3rd finish, he close all apps, praying his phone is cool enough to continue playing.
Most flagship comes with smaller battery 3k ish, while midrange comes with 4k-5k-6k battery. So expect longer gaming and streaming with mid range...

You are lucky or they must be knowing you are going to write or of "digital" influence.
Last Year my One Plus 5, speaker went wrong. I went to service center and they confirmed its under warranty but since 5t is out parts of 5 are not available.
Best part was they asked me to come after a fortnight. After 3 weeks and no spare, on my visit I was told you need to deposit your phone, as company officials want to check and only then they would send speaker.
A speaker change is 30 minutes job , and they were asking me to deposit my daily driver for "speaker" change, for an estimate of another fortnight.
I wrote to all possible people and got Zero Help, and that's it.
Honestly a brand who was flagship killer, mocking brands for notch in one series, then mocking on audio jacks in other, and suddenly - all is forgotten. The brand slowly over period of time has become hypocrite for me and service is non existent.

good opinion my brother todays day if we change a flagship phone is because we want and no because or devices stop working most of the times ( trend ).
I had an lg g2 gave it to my wife then I gave to her my g4 because of that .. switched to a lg g5 not because I disliked g4 it was because no choice at the moment and still keep g2 ... but even though that these devices don't top benchmark charts any more they are good enough for daily usage even gaming camera are far better than a lot of devices considered flagship and upper midrangers ... im not changing my phone until it completely dies it is smooth and fast updated to android 8.0 paired with a 128 u3 sd card what else do I need ..

It's just that a phone right now or from 2 years ago has everything you need. Processor to do your procrastination online, camera that compensates for your lack of photography skills, battery that lasts longer since you forgot to charge it, battery that charges faster because you didn't look at the time, fingerprint scanner because you always forget your PIN... What has really changed since the 3? More fragile back? A FPS under the screen? Slight camera enhancements? The ever so powerful processor that you won't ever use to a quarter of it's full potential? AI? None of that justifies to get a whole new device, pricier than ever with more compromises than ever.

If u dont upgrade the phone from OP 5/5t/6, i do understand. But from OP 3 to OP 6T, boy there many better aspects and reason to upgrade to. This kind of review will definitely affects OP 6T sales lol.

I believe the "constant" yearly upgrade cycles SHOULD be ending. Phone process power, speed, display have surpassed what MOST consumers use them for. Other than those that root/flash/tweak phones are fast enough, displays are good enough for average users. Battery life could be improved, but, with manufacturers pushing waterproof units, don't look for the removable battery to make a return. THAT ship sailed years ago.
Keeping a phone, as long as the battery holds up, and is not damaged for 2 years or more, SHOULD be the norm. Perhaps if more phones crack the $1,000.00 price point, more people will keep their phones.
In the USA, the carriers have "sort of" brought back the 2 year contract by offering no interest financing in an effort to keep people upgrading every year or so. (making it up on overcharging for data).

I currently have the Original Pixel. Returned the Pixel 2 after 2days of use. (Wasn't worth the upgrade) and gave the OP6 to my sister (screen too big for me). I want a new phone so it was between the Pixel3 n 6T. Ended up ordering the 6T. Mainly because it was cheap, but I'm REALLY hoping the Pixel 4 is nxt lvl stuff.
