Kingslayer, 07 Nov 2018The Pixel line (2016-Present) is still better. Nexus One... moreAs it should be, considering how it's a more expensive line

Still own a Nexus 5....and it is about to complete 5 years. What a device I can say. Truth is Google's strategy might not work with Pixels, the way it worked with Nexuses. Though if they launch cheaper Pixel, who knows.

Kingslayer, 07 Nov 2018The Pixel line (2016-Present) is still better. Nexus One... moreWell, it was not meant for camera, video, and battery... It was for making the stock version of android to show off. Since nexus 6P they started to change their way to make device mainstream. For myself, i love nexus, i loved its performance, i wish i could buy a new one. But prices are too high. Nexus was about cheapness and high performance, and i really liked it since nexus 6p/pixel. As price is increasing more and more

              rip nexus...

AnonD-771260, 07 Nov 2018Google used to "make" nice phones with good price. No, Nexus had good prices but had bad cameras, displays, and poor battery life. Nexus 5 had a 2300 mAH battery but had to power a 1080p display. Unlike the LG G2 having 3000 mAH and lasted much longer.

Don't get too nostalgic. The Nexus wasn't all that. Cooler name to say, right? Pixel wipes the floor clean against Nexus. The first two Pixels actually had great cameras and battery life. Two areas the Nexus didn't get right until the 6P.

I'm sure Google can still update both up to 5 years if it really wanted to. But it's far more interested in releasing new overpriced Pixel phones every year.

Anonymous, 07 Nov 2018RIP Nexus (2010 - 2018). If you count with android update p... moreThe Pixel line (2016-Present) is still better.

Nexus One was my first Android but the Nexus line was always plagued with problems or didn't really excel in camera, display, and battery life.

                    Pixel 3 keeps on winning...

Truth Sayer, 07 Nov 2018Actually google should disable those phones with an update.... moredisagreed, a phone is an investment and customer should get the updates for atleast 3 years

Still rocking my Nexus 6P, but can't use on a regular basis because of its lack of recording calls & VoLTE.

Using my 6 yrs old rock-solid Galaxy S4 rocking (unofficial) LineageOs 14.1 build based on Android N for the same purpose. Although its only 3G but well serves my purpose of call recording something which I require the most.

Nexus is not dying either as long as official LineageOs support is there for it. Long Live Nexus!

RIP Nexus (2010 - 2018). If you count with android update policy years. Thank you & goodbye for the 8 years of service. You will be missed dearly :(

We Android Truthers / Users / Fans are feeling nostalgic right now.
