[deleted post]there is actually a front camera on N9 but who needs a front camera anyway? 2 of 100 persons use a front camera.
LOL

N9 is the best phone ever built and the most sexy by far.

Andy, 22 Nov 2011Them Koreans always put some sort of a bug in the item they OEM ... moretha' talks some rot, why would you put a bug in oem equipment when that would disincline the vendor to use your equipment again, makes no economic sense

No such issue on the N9, Lumia 800, Nokia 701, and Asher 303: What can I say, Nokia build quality handsets.
Next year they plan to release dual core WP, Symbian, Meego powered phones, and a quad core tablet running Windows 8. Should be interesting given android's ecosystem sucks

AnonD-25948, 22 Nov 2011its not samsung this time around its just a problem with the OS.... moreReports are stating that it could be a hardware flaw, in which case it would be Samsung's fault.

joe, 22 Nov 2011hehhehehe samsung are losers without google ther are nothingits not samsung this time around its just a problem with the OS. Samsung just made the devices and google put in their software how they wanted it. If it was just abother samsung phone it will have touchwiz on top of their andriod OS but this is just pure google ICS

  • AnonD-25948

Gregory, 22 Nov 2011Don't they test their phones before realising them ... ? This is... moreits not samsung its the problem with the software not the device itself.
this time around samsung just made the phone then google did all their software because thats stock android so it just means that google just pushed the software in and didn't test it properly
if it was just a samsung device with the samsung android over it, the software will have touchwiz on it

Halem, 22 Nov 2011Agree with Andy, I do believe Samsung intend to keep the best... morebut the thing is if they decide to keep the new updates from all the other providers android will die out because without all those other providers android will not be what it is today so i actually think the sooner they send the updates the more people will actually want androids because they will know that they will be getting the latest software. so i dont think keeping it away for 6 months will help because everyone will just move to OS like windows or symbian which will suck for all the droid lovers

Andy, 22 Nov 2011Them Koreans always put some sort of a bug in the item they OEM ... moreAgree with Andy,

I do believe Samsung intend to keep the best for their own product.

Google should finalised the deal with Motorola Mobility & make sure latest Android are only available to Motorola at lease 6 months before it release to other made such as Samsung, LG, Sony & Others.

brypie, 22 Nov 2011I must be missing something here - Who holds their phone THA... moreThe video is just to indicate that the problem is hardware in nature, instead of software, and if so, might be more difficult to fix.

  • Andy

Them Koreans always put some sort of a bug in the item they OEM for others so that others buy their device after instead of that from their competitor. They basically want the people to buy the new Galaxy S3 when it comes out.

  • BOjan

this is just a software bug,so i'd still buy this art of device...

  • dany

well ... I don't know for sure if this is true ...
It would be much more credible it will show the nexus powering on and then start acting crazy, not being already on.

Otherwise is pretty easy to fake the video with a little software using either nfc or proximity sensor ;)

  • brypie

I must be missing something here -

Who holds their phone THAT close to another phone??

Or does the Galaxy Nexus's own tranamission interfere with itself?

Kaif, 22 Nov 2011I am also facing the same problem on my galaxy s2. Its volume go... moreeither you're faking it for trolling (which failed) or your sgs2 is the only one who has those issues. i use sgs2, and i don't have such kinds of bugs. and i'm not a samsung/android fanboy (i even use iMacs)
