2. Screen ble... moreThe screen bleed issue was the only present in some models with the first batch at launch. I bought mine at launch and no screen bleed issue. Neither do any of my 4 friends who also bought at launch.
The ads is also not an issue since you can easily disable them. I have done so in my phone and I don't see ads anywhere.
The only real issues as a user I feel are UI responsiveness which has been largely remedied by Miui 10, notch support in apps which is partly a google issue and the lack of Widevine L1 support which is quite a strange issue considering it doesn't cost to add it.
The last part is something that doesn't bother me in the least since I prefer watching movies and TV serials on a large screen.
All in all I am very happy with the phone but I do prefer the One Plus 6Ts ammoled screen and the smaller notch. If I had the budget I would probably have splurged for that but I am very very happy with the Poco F1

I don't know what's wrong with gsmarena lately, poco f1 is a budget phone!! And you still convince us to read all this bulshit? Lol, nonsense video, we have 3,5mm jack, fhd screen, big battery, what else? You want this phone to be priced 500$++?

It would be nice what's wrong with the phone, but if I have to sit and watch a video instead of reading a few paragraphs I guess I'll never know. Also, good luck to anyone who might try to Google up this article later based purely on something they recall having heard in it.

Add to the cons:
1. Poor RAM management.
2. Screen bleeding issues.
3. Ads all around MIUI.
Something which turned me away from the Poco & rather consider the 6T, although that’s double the price of as that of Poco.

Poco F1 is simple business Model like OnePlus.
First make very affordable.
Then add small features by adding every year or half year.
I still think Why Xiaomi is preventing MI8 or MI8 SE which are better in every aspect...

You might not have used any AMOLED Screen device.
Poco is facing colour bleed issues.
It also does not support Widvine L1 license.
It can't be flagship quality.
It is just a phone with SD845. It is only hype.

This is actually the worst video I have seen.
Factually, it doesn't officially costs $400 anywhere for its cheapest product, if you said 359 that might even have been acceptable but this one is total lie.
And the overall review is terrible too.

Stock android suck, only samsung users want stock android because the samsung skin is awful. Also I think lg v30 or lg g7 is a better option and is only a little more expensive. But props to xiaomi for delivering such a good smartphone.

Such a waste of time video. Pocophone is cheap and powerful. What do you want more? Do you want to do selfie under water? It is good phone for that price. Personally I will buy pay a little more for Honor 10.

- compare this phone with another price/market
- wrong title..it should "whats poco doesn't have"
- plastic design, no IP, no wireless charge >> those are cutting points for low price and thats NOT wrong

I'll tell whats wrong in Pocophone - at least in my market. There are quite a few cheaper alternatives available!
For example, in my market, Pocophone's price is 1.5 times of Huawei Honor 8x. So the main selling point of poco which is price is negated by the fact that just by losing a few good to have features, price can be reduced significantly. Nobody who's not in gaming cares whether it is 845 or kirin as long as the phone does not lag.
A large majority of buyers just really want a good looking phone, with plenty of memory, no lag, great screen, camera and battery. To that majority, rest of the features do not really justify material difference in prices.

I'd prefer if reviewers compare poco f1 to phones in its price range like the A7 2018, Nokia 7.1 & Huawei Nova 3i.
My friend is looking for a phone in this price range, but doesn't care about sd845. He's saying Huawei Nova 3i looks better. Lol
