i agree with others and i dont like to see such videos on youtube when we know a phone at this price tag has everything we need. yes nfc is important for me but if i want more i should pay more. you never see such reviews for samsung or apple on gsmarena but they mostly blame cheap phones like f1 alot. i bought pocophone for two reason. one is the price tag and the other is support of memory card which you cant find on op6

For those who want to buy $300 SD 845 device. We don't want AMOLED.
Poco F1 with LCD is perfect. AMOLED burn in is bad. AMOLED is for those who want to spend $900 flagship and will buy a new one in 1 ir 2 years.
For me, I want my kids Poco F1 last 3-4 years.

MIUI is a skin on top of android, same as Samsung's touchwiz, why nobody comment about note9 touchwiz as down side? I am user of pocophone and note9 and i can tell that both are good. Don't misleading people please.

Have you ever use pocophone before? Your disadvantage video is like you are looking at the phone spec sheet instead of an user. Funny

Initially I was drawn into this click bait video but upon going through few minutes of it, it is very clear it is nit picking review. Nothing you would find that you do not know or a new revelation...for the price it offers adequate value than $1500-$2200 mobiles

In this case poco's 845 is to blame. The least people compare it to is the OnePlus 6. When you look at around 350$ and less you start to notice none of the complaints except design holds up.Poco is ugly mainly from front. But it's soc is best in the price segment.Camera and battery is among the best.Speaker output is also good for the price and amoled is not available in many phones of this segment. For people comparing with OnePlus 6 or 6t they have to notice that OnePlus is nearer to G7 thinq or galaxy s9 in price right now than pocophone.

Here's what's wrong with the Pocophone F1 (and the reviewer). I hope video like this not just only for Pocophone, to be fair for every other phone. If you don't mind.

dudecool, 08 Nov 2018theres always a reason these phones are cheap.. lack of fea... morePoco F1 does support safe SAR values to comply with US and EU regulations. Refer to this site for SAR values of Xiaomi smartphones.

The main catch when buying Xiaomi phones was that you invest more on the hardware and the Software will just follow afterwards. They do update but kind of slow as compared to Apple but they do support their old phones on new MIUI updates.

Rants should also be logical, when OP6T which is charging almost double the price of PoCo doesn't have either wireless charging or IP68 water protection, what are you really complaining about.? PoCo also needs to make a small profit or decrease its losses.
PoCo's negatives are its average design, LCD display, huge notch, bigger bottom bezel, and MIUI skin. If you want to avoid these negatives you can buy the One Plus 6T.
At its starting price point of $300, there's nothing really wrong with the PoCo F1. In fact it has created a storm and destroyed the pricing strategies of smartphones in and around that price point, even in a competitive market like India.

Anonymous, 08 Nov 2018Yep i think real disadvantages of any phone are too overloo... morePoco's issues is not that new. When you compare it to start-up like Essential's PH1, Poco's better. The problem with PH1 is that they target a very high pricepoint while Poco targets much lower price which gives it more traction than the PH1. For the first generation phone of a start-up company the F1 looks promising.
Also the reason why buying first generation smartphone is a huge gamble.

DroidBoye, 08 Nov 2018Honestly I'm disappointed because I expected something more... moreYep i think real disadvantages of any phone are too overlooked by people and reviewers, like the ones i mentioned in my previous phone (sound from earpeace, 3.5mm jack, reception, gps performance). A smartphone is not just the cpu and camera (And camera,s performance is also below average for the price, i watched some reviews and Note 6 pro performs better).

Honestly I'm disappointed because I expected something more. Maybe they could research some more and they'll see a better content for this type of video. It's like they just highlighted the ones obviously NOT in the the phone.
Oh, Xiaomi released a phone with MIUI OS! **SHOCKED**.
They should've change the title to "What's NOT in Poco F1, consider these before buying."

I read its review here and at another site and realized its a flop and not worth buying. Bad sound from the headphone jack, bad sound from the earpeace, bad gps. Also read some feedback about below average reception. So basically they decided to put a powerful cpu and "compensate" (It's like a law, you can never have a great phone, it must always suck in one way or another) by screwing almost everything else.

drake parker, 08 Nov 2018Except for the screen, somewhat the size of the phone and M... moreAbsolutely agreed.
Everyone is making bigger screen phone now a days, what are they thinking !! 5" to 5.5" is the best size of single hand, and AMOLED is mandatory for every devices. If this poco would come within 5 - 5.5 size and AMOLED, i would be happier to pay $100 extra with the current price.
Besides i have already got one POCO, and sometime i finds it a bit tall. Rather than that, it's a beast.

The video keep saying the Pocophone competitors have those features like IP rating.
WHICH COMPETITOR? The Pocophone has NO competitor, as nobody else can sell their SD845 phone for $300. This video is meaningless as there are no phones with all those features AND flagship spec for $300. And OnePlus? OnePlus 6T is $500, and doesn't have things like wireless charging either.
So much hate for the Pocophone because it is breaking new grounds, making everybody uncomfortable. So my guess is competitors like BBK are paying tech bloggers to make up criticism for the pocophone.
I mean why there's no "what's wrong with OnePlus" video? I mean they are in fact the original "flagship killer," selling flagship specs for less than the likes of Samsung.
