I really hate white backgrounds. I gave 1* for apps in the play store, for those with white skin only. It´s just so primitve and outdated. Watching an app on a device running windows mobile 2003 and a android device in 2018 the only difference is the higher resolution.

And that OS was fluid, could run on less RAM and the tile/dark mode combo was great. I am unwillingly dealing with Android. I preferred Windows. And I hate iOS. So I'm just...in limbo

- or simply just give us, the users the choice to change based on our preference. Also, introduce day/night cycle where the UI colours change according to our location so in the morning it would be nice, white-bright while at night it would be dark, black-ish. That's one of the main features I've been missing from any and all Operating Systems. Luckily, Mac has this - sort of.

...Android Pie in dark black would look fantastic on Xperia XZ3 (OLED) display!
..can't wait for the feature / update....
also youtube and text messaging app looks much more elegant in dark mode! and yeah it consume less power compared to the white one.
