Samsung's new Exynos chipset powering the Galaxy S10 gets unveiled next week

      I just hope they've fixed the power consumption under load (See Anandtech tests for 9810)) and the GPU that is destoyed by A12x and the DSP for the video codec and single core ...

      Samsung has a lot of catching up to do.

        Ummm, Kirin 980 with a 10 core GPU is smashing the 20 core GPU of the Exynos. Obviously the next Exynos with 20 core GPU will score some extra points on benchmarks and suffer in battery life. In real life usage Huawei Mate 20 series will beat Samsung S10 series in both speed test and battery life using a chip set that is 6 month older than the Exynos.

However for gaming, I'm sure that A12 is smoother than SD845 especially about game optimization from developer.

                                  Shanti Dope, 10 Nov 2018Samsung's Mongoose cores are the only design that could ser... moreThe problem here is not ARM Cortex A76 but the implementation by Huawei, it has been documented that the lower cache size used is more detrimental to performance yet Huawei sticks to this design because it uses less silicon (ironic for a brand called HiSilicon) thereby costing less to fabricate, this is the same ideology hampering their GPU since they implement less core (MP10 instead of MP20) and lower cache size.

                                  Also, both Apple Axx series and Samsung Mx series are based on ARM Technologies.

                                    Samsung's Mongoose cores are the only design that could seriously rival Apple's core designs.
                                    Almost a year has passed yet the Cortex A76 on the Kirin 980 still falls short against the Mongoose M3 cores of the Exynos 9810.

                                    LMAO and Huawei still claims that their chipset is faster than Apple's A12 Bionic!

                                      When I Get Excited For The New Exynos Chipset Announcement, I'll Remember That Samsung Always Gimps Their Exynos Chipsets For Their Snapdragon Counterparts So That Their US, China & Latin-America Customers Won't Feel Bad.. If That Didn't Happen, We Should've Seen A Better Rival For Apples Chipsets Some Time Ago..
