Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium receiving Android 9.0 Pie

When the light drops, the individual pixels, 4 of them specifically, would combine together and form a 2x larger single pixel, and boost up the light gathering significantly. 48MP of detail is pure hardware, the only interpolation would be in reduction of resolution, at which you can also achieve lossless digital zoom (approximately 5x).
I also wish for a 1" 48MP Quad Bayer memory-stacked sensor, but knowing Sony, they'd probably just to 1/1.7" at most (that's the size of the 40MP Sony sensor of the Huawei P20 Pro and Mate 20 Pro).

As for Sony's Clear Zoom, its high 19MP resolution definitely plays a big part of it. Add that to the laid-back image processing (almost no noise reduction) and the detail levels would really be insane.
You'd see the quality to drop as soon as you reach about 5x.

                      I am losing a lot.. Poor me!!!

                      I am going to buy the S10 to see ugly hole on screen, burn in after 2 weeks, I will have to reset every 4 months, I will get Android 10 in March/2020, worst white balance for photos and 4k video.

But i just refuse to see quad bayer pixel arrangement justified. Well, it helps in low light but that's all. Detail wise, 48 mp quad bayer sensor is just glorified 12 mp sensor with bigger pixels. Sure, you can use interpolation to get 48 mp pics, but that's just not... natural.
                                  And being Sony fanboy, maybe you can explain me, what kind of magic Sony is using in digital zoom? Just today i discovered, that up to 2,5x digital zoom photos snapped with my new XZ3, have _almost_ same quality than normal pics.

                                    Thanks for the effort, but I already do know that the DRAM enables Sony's headline camera features of their XZ devices, so no need to remind me of them, because I'm a Sony fanboy and I do know those simple things

                                      It will be used by many Chinese brands. Umidigi is one of them.
                                      Mi 9 will have it.
                                      BBK wants too.

                                      Imx586 does not have the DRAM inside.
                                      Without this the device can't do 960fps, no 4K HDR Hybrid Log Gamma, no Anti-distortion shutter, no Predictive Capture, no burst with AF...

                                        They thought out of everything, that even their Xperia L2's design was crafted as much as a flagship phone
                                        Sony could partner up with more carriers though in order to gain more market share
                                        If the XZ Premium was just as popular as, say the Galaxy S8, people would've had a harder time choosing which one to pick
