Midrange Google Pixel 3 Lite leaks with a headphone jack and a Snapdragon 670

16 November 2018
We’ve been seeing some extra hardware codenames and this could be the culprit!

I'm expecting a high price and top quality camera maybe not Pixel quality but better than other phones in that segment and hoepfully it will lack Pixel issues

One more badly supported glitchy bad quality overpriced phone? Thanks, Google, your camera is great but phones are crap.

It will be over-priced, aimed mostly at usa home market, don't care if its got the same camera, it's still a stupid tiny little lens with a tiny sensor behind it, rubbish in=rubbish out, even with a huge amount of processing, it can only guess ir invent stuff that tiny lens/sensor missed in the first place.. Plastic body and lcd is an improvement over glass/glass and oled/amoled, but Google is never going to go the nexus route again, no more high spec, cheap price and for anyone thinking of buying one, ask yourself one question, if Google cannot be bothered to sort out all the huge number of bugs out of their top end offerings, what do you think these cheaper versions are going to be like ?? Do you realy fancy being a member of the pricey Google pixel beta testing community, cos that's what you'll be... And after all, it's just a re-badged HTC, with an even higher price than HTC would try to charge !!

Peddling back from the no headphone jack Pixel, but then they basically say headphone jacks are for "poor" people who can only afford "lite" versions of their phone. Classic Silicon Valley douchebaggery. Why can't they just do no headphone jack as well and bundle the wireless earbud? Too costly?

And what kind of spec is that? I would expect at least the SD710, not 670. And only 32GB of storage without any expansion? Nearly all other mid-rangers have moved up to 64GB standard. 32GB is for the low end models. This is laughable, but hey, all the Youtubers and tech bloggers will be all over this, suckin up to the Google.

This should be good, 5.5" 18:9 screen ratio equivalent as old 5" 16:9 screen ratio.

I don't think anyone would buy it at the same price of oneplus 6t. At least not in India.

If its priced more then 350$ it will be a failure.
Even 350$ is a uper limit so that some people could swallow it because they want regular steady software updates (tho even Pixels ain't bug free as they used to be).
It needs to be 300$ or lower to become a hit.
For those looking for value there are better choices already & will be better one's as time goes. If the phone is popular in moddingg community such as XDA it will get a better costume software than anything Google ever provided, me by not a version bump so quick but certainly better software & with lot of flavours.

Tempting, but the battery cap is low compared to others in the mid-range section. I'm concerned with its battery life. Plus, knowing Pixel, it most likely won't have an external SD card slot, one of the standard basic features (besides 3.5mm jack) since the golden days of feature phones.

                          Those are its weaknesses.

Seems it turn out like iPhone 5s. Recycling old design with slight changes in internals.

Seriously feel that price should be sane, else it will be a disastrous venture.

I think it would be an unaffordable, not worthy midranger.

Finally. I hope this true so I can upgrade my OG Pixel. $500 seems reasonable/affordable considering its camera capability.
