And faster maybe better i dont think so.
But to be exact pressing one button on camera is a lot easier than pressing several until you get to camera in Samsung phone and make a decent photo.
Also i can honestly guarantee you that people after 50 years will have a less problems using DSLR than a touch phone.

And 90% of common people will never know to use a dslr in manual mode, even if they use it for a long time. I saw a lot of people with dslr just for showing off, all put in Auto mode. In the night, in very low light, 2 lux, Samsung Note 9 will make better and faster photos than any dslr. I bet my kidneys !!

            S8 and S9 were busts. Only fanboys liked them. Sales were telling a different story.

            Ever since they sealed the battery their phones instantly lost the allure they had over other phones. The sales followed suite (from 80 mil in S4, to 65 in S5, 45 in S6 ... S9 would be lucky to hit 30 mil at this point).

            Then to add insult to injury. S8 and S9 had a tiny battery and a dated design. Exynos 9810 was an overheating mess, their VR while started promising (Netflix everywhere) never developed it (low res still, sucky response times). Their cameras have been overtaken.

            Only Samsung Dex shows promise, but even that was not marketed well and most don't even know how liberating it can be to their work flow.

            In general Samsung has been a mess ever since S6 , and things only get worse lately. Obviously they need a reboot and IMO they should bring back the one thing that was clearing setting them apart. Removable battery, pros whould flock on them (a million times better than carrying external chargers, especially if they make it so, so that they won't need to shut down the phone for the swap).

            But I don't expect that from Samsung , to bring removable batts in the modern world requires an innovative mind that Sammy clearly lacks lately...

                  And battery size atleast 4000mAH for the flagships. No matter how many optimisations samsung makes to the 3300 m ah battery software or hardware wise, people will look at the specs of the battery. If phones need to made a bit thicker for that, so be it. I dont think it will be a problem as most people wouldnt mind if it comes with increased battery life.

                    1) Marketing: Samsung should market features like DEX and adaptive brightness and other hardware and software features that are specific to its phones.

                    2) Make a 6 inch flat edged S10. How they price it and what features they add or remove from it is their choice. 6 inch 18:9 display phones are proving to be a very popular screen size. iPhone XR is selling well. Sure this may cannibalize other 6 inch phone sales from samsung, but its not a bad thing for samsung if its flagships do that.

                    Or if samsung is worried that the flat edged phone will cannibalize sales of its curved edge flagships as it may have invested billions for the equipment needed to manufacture them, samsung could skip the 6 inch screen sized phone but make the upcoming 6.7 phone flat edged. A phone that big people might think twice to buy it, if it has curved edges. They could make two versions of it too...curved and flat edged. Split half the number of 6.7 phones it wants to make and make one half of the phones flat edged.

                          Huawei P20 pro or mate 20 pro are also a lot better.
                          Fastest CPU is snapdragon 8150 get your fact right. Its a lot faster than A12 bionic which is also faster than exynos. They are very lucky they are a bit better than Mediatek. Even Kirin 980 is a lot better.
                          Ram have no brand thus is everywhere same. So 8GB ram on a one plus is same 8GB ram as have Note 8 or Xiaomi phone or Mate 20 pro etc.
                          Super amoled is not best. Best display is LTP LCD IGZO certified made for a razor phone with 120hz refresh rate. At high brightness soon your screen will imprint everything you see and it will remains there thats the main reason why not amoled. All amoled have this so LCD is always a better option. Also a lot cheaper to repair. Dont need to mention that curved samsung screen cost 400 to repair but same flat screen even samsung made cost up to 150 euros to fix.

                            It have everything as Note 9 apart the S-pen which not everybody needs or use and IP68 which also not every bodyneeds or use.
                            But if we skip that it have more battery better ram more features and better MUI compared to scamsung bloatware.
                            And we can continue forewer.

                                    1- Samsung camera with dual pixel sensor, mechanical variable aperture and f /1.5, all like dslr, on S9 and Note 9.
                                    2- The best Exynos cpu, the fastest ram, the fastest internal memory (ufs) with 800 MB/sec reading speed and 500 MB / sec writing speed
                                    3- The best super amoled display
                                    4- Any other phone on the market did not have better internal components like Samsung. Anyone !!

                                        They might be good but far from best.
                                        There are lot of others phones for a much less price but equal in all other aspects.
                                        For a movies you dont need a phone with huge memory but a big memory card.
                                        IP68 is as i say. Completely useless.
                                        Maybe some people finds passion here but more than a half of the planet will never have to use IP68. Something like accidental rain when you have pockets or messenger bag etc. And many else.
                                        Even for camera is decent.
                                        If i want pro photos i will buy pro camera such as Nikon D3500.
                                        On the whole world there is no phone which have better camera than average camera phone brand. Even Nikon or Canon for 150 euros does much better photos than any phone can ever imagine.
                                        So as i said basic is enough the rest or the add-ons are for a small % of people which can really use it. But for the rest of the people they have to pay for something they will not need.
