It's not innovation, it's their pricing! Many people have more priorities compared to phones that last a few years that cost a fortune.

Being #1 of sales is not important.
          Being #1 of profits is..

Nothing spells innovation like a completely radical approach altogether --- S10 - 6.1 inch Super AMOLED screen - 8 GB RAM (base level model) - 128 GB internal memory (base level model) - 20 MP 1 inch sensor primary camera - 20 MP half inch sensor selfie camera - 4 K 60 fps (if they can manage 120 even better) - 4000 mAh Li-Ion battery - And price the phone around 700 USD at launch. Samsung will then stand a good chance of taking the mobile world by storm...

Ditch the hole in the display and offer full view with behind the display solution against a decent price. Only then you'll win the battle.

Well this is normal, the growth that the corporations have in nowadays is unsustainable, it is not going to work forever. These shareholders, investors etc that are pushing the CEO's to sell more, they don''t know shit about anything, just rich guys wanting to be richer. They had an operational profit of 2 billion but it was 30% lower than the previous quarter and 10% lower than YOY, which translates into HUGE PROFITS anyways, there is no loss there, only in the heads of incompetent growth pushers.

Sad but true (for Samsung) Huawei will soon take Sammys position for sure. And then maybe Xiaomi some years after will get a higher position then Samsung to.
