I still have my HTC Magic from a looooonnnnnggg time ago. I keep it in a plastic bag with a spare battery. Take it on camping trips with me. Still a great little device for basic pics and playing music way out in the sticks.

HTC U12 Life has the 3.5mm jack back to where it belongs unlike last year's model, so having a slightly higher specs help. What HTC should do is to price it competitively & more marketing.

120hz Amoled don't exist yet, it's only on LCD.

HTC Desire was a huge hit in my country and I had HTC Wildfire which is still in use as more advanced feature phone. In general I consider HTC as good vendor, but their prices are very high which is why I don't really ever consider their phones.

I still believe on HTC. Please use AMOLED and bring back that humble 3.5mm jack. Don't be a copycat on Apple HTC.

*facepalm* Well at least they are stubborn. Let me guess, they'll try to fix their sales by reducing the battery capacity to 2500 mah and they'll also remove the charging port, and rise their prices even more.

                  You know what?
Try writing down your wish list for HTC, who knows they would actually repent from their mistakes.

                  For me:
Keep the BoomSound stereo speakers, clean notch-free screen, flagship SoC, excellent camera software, the telephoto second camera, and Edge Sense.

Upgrade the screen to mini LED / micro LED, put bigger main camera sensor, say, 1/2", refresh the Sense UI.

Abandon the haptic "buttons", just employ normal buttons.

Re-introduce 3.5mm jack, dual SIM with dedicated microSD slot.

Either sturdy metal back, or durable glass back WITH wireless charging.

Improved battery life (mini or micro LED should help achieving that).

I was an HTC fanboy, I bought all HTC flagship phones from HTC One X to HTC U11, HTC U12+ was the only phone I didn't buy, main reason HTC is not switching to AMOLED display, and U12+ even with big battery its battery is poor. there was a time when HTC push 2 major updates per year, one when Sense UI was update an other when new version of Android was release. LG makes great phone but people don't buy them that's probably LG have poor camera and UI need a major overhaul. also LG phone don't have great resale value.

I want a phone with 120Hz AMOLED display which is bright for HDR content and speakers are as good or better than iPhone XS Max or ASUS ROG phone or like Pixel 3 XL(but more balanced) that's the last thing left in a smartphone for me to see(High Refresh Rate display)

Please target high mid range and flagship,
                      Don't make cheap phones

The problem was never that don't plan on releasing new phones. The problem is users don't plan on buying them.
I've had a Desire S which was pretty amazing (with basically no support), but haven't been able to find anything worthy from HTC ever since.
