Owning both Samsung and Huawei and their total disregard for timely updates Apple is the way to go for great support. Both these companies provide less support for their phones when the new one releases.

Android makers don’t have to spend as much for software R&D and managing an operating system. They get the base OS from google and the security patches.
Also since apple is not a manufacturer they buy components from other companies like Samsung so since both companies need to make profit the prices of components go up.

As per the tech -- Android is more advanced os-- you can change what ever you want.... You can build your own skin if you can.
iOS -- you can't do anything except what iOS give you, you have you follow....lol last year mobiles got performance locked by Apple.... After you paid $1100/-... Your mobile works slow.... Don't you feel bad?
Any how Apple should drop their price.... accept or not....or else.... They should be in trouble..

The higher price of an iPhone is pretty reasonable. You got minimum 4 year major OS upgrade, you got a very good software support and fast security patch, maybe future proof hardware, good build quality, highest price if you want to resale it (compared to an Android devices). If anyone who own an iPhone and keep their device for 4 year just do the math, I think it's worth it rather than buying an Android or another iOS device every year.

Apple is making really silly decisions. It can't push its services to users as effectively if its user base keeps declining. Although Apple might still keep making a lotta money through hardware devices, it has to set long-term plans for its services too.
