Samsung Galaxy A8s to come without 3.5 mm audio jack

This would be the first Samsung phone to go in this direction.

    If Samsung goes this way, then no more Samsung for my fiture purchases. I need a headphone jack. I have a premium headphone and amplifier set up.

      That guy has been nothing but bad news for Samsung. What is the rationale for removing a feature that costs almost nothing and differentiates the brand from a sea of Apple copycats.

      Next, Koh would give the green light to remove expandable storage. Samsung slowly becoming Samesung.

                  The Chinese customers in China MUST AVOID buying A8s to send a message to Samsung that 3.5mm jack MUST be KEPT as a CHOICE.

                    It's an A series.
                    Not a good sign for Samsung.

                        This is what happens when companies invest a boatload of money in Bluetooth and wireless connections.

                          Well, it's gone.

                            Ok so I'm on board the usb thing... But surprise surprise.. The headphone people have not got the news... Even now most headphones are 3.5mm and bluetooth headphones are.. Get this.. old school micro usb.. I have an hd4.50..so its not exactly a chinese make-do that I'm talking about.. So much for efficiency

Besides, it's not at the top so if you hide it there will probably be even bigger black bar than with a small notch. My logic is fine but manufacturers' isn't. They are completely insane.

                                  And the saddest part is, people would buy this thing and give Samsung some good sales, which would then give them the idea that it's fine to people that they remove the jack, and so they would do the same thing for every single one of their products.

                                  Until someone stands up and defend this stupidity, no manufacturer will be awakened by the knowledge of their ignorance.

                                      It is by far much more discrete than a stupid notch. Personally i still like phones with thick frames up and down, like S8, S9.
