30 November 2018
This would be the first Samsung phone to go in this direction.

I don't care if a midranger from Samsung doesn't have 3.5mm jack, because frankly, who buys midrangers from Samsung when you get flagships from Xiaomi/ Honor/ etc.. ?

Samsung is known for its striking camera and audio quality in its flagships. That's where the 3.5mm jack must stay.
After the Nokia N91, I never owned a phone without a jack and I don't plan to either.

Even the Galaxy S10's junior edition with Snapdragon 845 is good enough for me... As long as it has those 3 cameras in top quality, audio quality with jack, and that's it.
As for A8s, who the hell cares, just get a pocophone in this budget....

And i'll never ever buy a jackless phone unless i absolutely don't have a choice like the case with non-removable batteries (I refused to buy one until they completely got rid of them. Too bad most people don't think, don't have self-respect and are completely hypnotized by these evil companies).

Damn, what's bad with 3,5 mm jack, it is one of the best connectors, why everyone wants to remove it!!!

People want the jack not because they can't afford bluetooth headphones, but because they don't want to (Too much hassle. Plus, many people like me want the jack not just for headphones).

Too bad. Now we should expect even mid-rangers to start losing the jack when there won't be competition. Prices will probably rise more, too.

Hoffmann, 30 Nov 2018Is this a indication, that the upcoming S10 and Note 10 wil... moreYes. Samsung is an Apple copy cat. Not as big as Google as though.

Well, this is what happens when SAMSUNG's A-series smartphones are the guinea pigs now...

Unless Samsung offers wireless earphones in the box, the end is near for them. Huawei is coming in strong and I see them becoming No1 in the next two years. This is not the time for Samsung to upset its loyal customers more.

Hihihihihihi....luckily my Mate 20 has headphone jack.

Gonna use it for the next 2 years.

Come and fail. I will never by a phone without audio jack

Now I want apple fanboys vs samsung fanboys over samsung copying apple or samsung not having real design etc
