An excellent headline, succinct and to the point.

Keep up the good work GSMArena, the usual excellent standards.

The video does not show him using a packet sniffer. It only shows an event logger. Capturing events, and sharing them with the world are different things. The event logs merely show that IQRD is triggered on these events, but says nothing about whether it sends the information or even whether it stores it locally.

On topic: this sort of thing is serious, regardless of OS, carrier, manufacturer, etc.

Off topic: iPhone fans will have a field day... Oh well, win some, lose some.

So, according to Coward (amusing last name), their software is OK because it just gathers the records of all our actions to send periodically instead of sending the records as soon as the actions occur...

Is it just my impression, or is he completely missing the point? Mr. Coward, the problem with your company's software is with WHAT it sends, not WHEN it sends. You're either stupid, or playing users for stupid.
