when the first iPhone came to israel. it costed 500$, here in israel. it was 3750ILS. 10 years later the iPhone 8 costed 800$, how much it costs in israel? you guessed it. 3750 ILS.
the iPhone X's 1000$ equivalent to 4850. and same with the XS at 4850.and even next gens iPhones at that price.
the galaxy note 9 same case. but you can find it here for as low as about 2800 ILS (that's about 600$ equivalence)
AND PLEASE. don't rise up THAT SUBJECT. I have nothing to do about the israeli/arab case. I'm a typical techy girl.

If you could criticize faster AI for better functionality of the smartphone, then you should do the same for every other annual improvements in technology, as we haven't seen anything that truly revolutionary.
Last time we've had a massive leap was in 2007 with the introduction of the first iPhone, and it was truly one of a kind during its time.

Also, the Kirin was meant to beat the SD845, which it does. It wasn't built to compete with SD855, the competitor to that will be Kirin 990.

I for one look forward to see the first phone with 8k video recording capability.

In RAW processing yes, apple is ahead. But as a whole SoC, Qualcomm has advantages on its own tho

So another SOC full of crap I don't need, don't want and won't use, sitting there doing nothing but suck more power.. What's more efficient, use decent cameras/lens to get decent picture data or rubbish cam/lens and loads of live/post processing ?

Exynos 9820 is definitely more powerful, it has a capability of recording and encoding 8K video at 30fps and 4K at 150fps compared to this SD 855 which is just 4K at 60fps. Although 8K is impractical but anyway it shows the raw power of the CPU!
