When a company screws up, I admit it, EVEN SONY. I just support the removal of the headphone jack, whichever company does it. Even if Samsung does it INEVITABLY. There are things that I don't like, like the bottom firing speaker, separate power button and fp sensor... Would a fanboy say this? No, a fanboy (e.g. Samsung fanboys) will always brag how their products are better and how they're superior. I DON'T CARE about Samsung or Huawei. Sony: doing very well in music, gaming and cameras. Only the mobile division is bleeding money. It's been going on for years and getting worse every year.
Unfortunately, from these XZ4 news leaks, it seems like Sony still hasn't learnt its lesson.

What's the problem with this?
Side-mounted FPS - The best thing ever, i could not live without it. Once you try it, you can never go back.
Huge-ass'ish battery: Nice thing to have. There should be a battery war, not a headphone jack war.
Jack - I use jack on a daily basis, i dont want to buy a new headset, a new car stereo, i dont want to worry about another battery. I think there are people out there who like and use jack, but dont want to compromise on other specs, so a flagship with jack is a good deal for us.
Ram - I think 6 gigs is enough, i dont know how can someone use this much ram on a phone. My Z5 runs fine with 3 gigs, and i havent even restarted it in 6 months. but yeah 8 gigs is standard, they should've went for it. so they don't have less than the competition.
They have a good UI, recent updates, this phone could be a good phone.
Come on people, they are not lagging behind like in last 5 years, they are trying something different for the first time in a while. If they price this right, they could sell a lot(compared to sony, not samsung and apple obv. we are not there).
Maybe there is a demand for jack and this goes right, at least they are trying, competition is always good for the customers.

If returning of 3.5mm jack is true, this is another proof that SONY mobile division don't know what to do.
They ruin uniqueness of SONY design when they change OmniBalance with curved backs and humongous thickness. Now they copy Samsung design?!?
Is it so hard SONY?
Take my XZ Premium design, reduce the besels, but keep ff dual speakers, make the screen 18:9 to reduce wideness, use metal frame and back, not glass and woala!

2. Sony dont have good designers. Cough cough.. copied curved screen from samsung. And that Laughable Lg's oled.
3. Sony dont have any vision. No one knows what's sony trying to accomplish. Xz3 looks like galaxy. Xz4 uses lg screen. After removing hp jack now they will put it back. After avoiding tall screen ratio last, now they will make 21:9 ratio.
