[deleted post]Okay we'll see about that.
I don't want your stupid mouth or your horrible personality when Sony goes back and succeed in smartphones, okay??
I'm gonna let you enjoy Sony's dark age first while I'm gonna be witnessing them to go back and prove you guys to be wrong.
Oh, and I'd laugh my as* off if this phone is the only device with no horrid notch or screen cutout in the whole 2019.

I use phones with 4GB RAM and they don't have problems keeping the tasks open and keeping the operation very smooth.
Oh, and btw, I use a Xiaomi Redmi 5 Plus. A phone that isn't the best in its class but can do many things I'd ever do in a smartphone. Yes, it also has a headphone jack ;)

As usual, Sony topic. 100+ comment section. People can say whatever they want to say about Sony, but there's no denying that Sony is definitely grabbing people's attention.

And 2:1 (18:9) exists before LG G6 was launched (2017) in films like Vera Cruz (1954) or Jurassic World (2015), or series like House of Cards (2013).

18:9 only came into life after phone manufacturers started using it.

Anonymous, 05 Dec 2018Because Lg's screen is cheap and its has lower quality comp... moreDo I sound like I give a f*** about those Pixels and iPhones??
Sony utilized LG screens much better than Google and Apple ever did (if we assume that those panels are indeed from LG), and that's all that matters in this case.
The fault from those two greedy companies do not justify what Sony could do. They went for LG screens simply because they don't think Samsung could offer the properties of an OLED screen that they desire to showcase.
And going for an alternative isn't always being cheap. Sony went on a more practical decision for opting to LG panels, but without having to compromise on quality issues.
They obviously inspect the displays first before using them, unlike the two who only buy the screen, pack it on their phones, and call it a day.
Lag behind in the competition, huh??
Is that the reason why manufacturers are begging to copy Sony's true 960fps super slow motion video capture?

I would take 21:9 or 16:9 over any weird nowadays screen ratio for more standardized media consumption. Good move for the 3.5mm jack comeback. (Yeah, these rumor are too good to be true, honestly I'm less expecting).
Personally, i love long sized phones, just like LG's Black Chocolate label, looks glamorous, but i hate large screen.
Also, when do you use that 48MP 1/2" sensor, rather than letting Xiaomi uses it first? It's too old for XPERIA flagships to uses 1/2.3" sensor already (since Z1 untill XZ3, 5 years, 10 generations already!). Make it bigger!
By the way, 6GB RAM are too small for costly flagship series.

No one will purchase this phone for camera because Sony has a long history to crammed huge pixels in a small camera sensor and also ditches Optical image stabiliser for its phones...that means low label image details and higher noise...

abhinavjangir0201, 05 Dec 2018See Firstly I think we should compare it with android phones.
Only samsung and huawei phones are as ecpensive as sony phones in India but they are sold and sony don't.
So I thought reducing the price may help sony.
May be I am wrong
But to be honest all I want to see Sony mobiles as top selling mobiles😂
